Abstract: The present invention relates to a scooter of the type equipped with alternate operating footboards, comprising a flexible body (16) placed astride a fixed structure (14) protruding from a frame (2) and pivoted to the footboards (11, 12) to synchronize their alternate motion, a transmission (23) for transforming the alternate motion of the footboards (11, 12) into the rotation of a rear wheel (5). The transmission (23) comprises: a flexible element (39) having end parts which are operatively linked to the footboards (11, 12); a first and a second free-wheel (27, 28) mounted on a main shaft (24); a main wheel (26) which is integral with the main shaft (24); means (42, 43) for transmitting the motion from the main wheel (26) to the rear wheel (5); a drive pulley (32) placed by a front part (4) of the frame (2). The flexible element (39) extends from the first footboard (11), around the first free-wheel (27), forwards up to the drive pulley (32) and around the drive pulley (32), back up to the second free-wheel (28), around the second free-wheel (28) and then towards the second footboard (12).

Abstract: It is disclosed a vehicle and in particular a scooter in which there is present a fist and a second elements separated from each other and movable relative to a base frame, said elements defining respective actuating surfaces disposed substantially in side by side relationship with each other with respect to a longitudinal extension axis of the vehicle; an alternated operation of the first and second movable elements (6, 7) allows a motio-transmitting unit (8) to convert the reciprocating motion into a rotatory motion imparted to one of the scooter wheels thereby causing advancing of the vehicle. The particular positioning and configuration of the movable elements (6, 7) allows a steady and efficient use of the scooter.
