Abstract: A foldable table may include a table top and legs that are movable between an extended position and a collapsed position. The table top may include a first section and a second section that are movable between folded and unfolded positions. A first portion of a side rail may be connected to the first section of the table top and a second portion of the side rail connected to the second section of the table top. A hinge assembly may connect the first and second portions of the side rail in an offset configuration. When the table is in the folded position, an inner surface of the first portion of the side rail may be disposed at least proximate an outer surface of the second portion of the side rail.

Abstract: A table may include a table top with first and second sections that are connected by a hinge to allow the section to move between a folded position and an unfolded position. The table may also include legs that are movable between a use position and a storage position relative to the table top. The hinge may facilitate folding of the table top when the legs are in the storage position. On the other hand, the hinge may resist folding of the table top when the legs are in the extended position. In addition, the table may include components that expand and/or contract in different fashions in response to changes in temperature.
