Abstract:
A vehicle (10) which is especially designed for carrying equipment for treating plane or curved or double-curved surfaces. The vehicle is provided with suction cups (17) for maintaining the vehicle pressed against a vertically extending or oblique downwardly sloping or downwardly facing surface. The vehicle is provided with power-driven drive belts each with its respective set of suction cups (17) arranged in series. Furthermore, the vehicle has valve control devices which activate the suction cups in the positions where the drive belt is to form an abutment against the drive base-forming surface and inactivate the suction cups in the positions where the drive belt is to be released from abutment against the drive base.
Abstract:
An apparatus (11) for scraping off of a cylindrical part (10) comprises a rotor (cleaning means 15) and a stator (holder means 12). The rotor (15) is equipped with power-driven arrangements (16a), which cooperate with power-driving arrangements (P) on the stator (12), for turning of the cleaning means (15) relative to the stator (12). The rotor (15) is formed by two rotor parts (15a, 15b), which are joined together into a rigid, annular rotor. The rotor (15) is free-flowingly rotatably mounted directly in the holder means (12) and is equipped with a set of support rollers (49) and a set of scraper means (50) which are controlled by centrifugal force during rotation of the rotor.

A method is described for cleaning the surface of extended bodies, such as pipelines, of contaminating materials, and it is characterised by the following features: that an apparatus (20) is arranged to surround and seal around the body (10) so that a completely closed or partially closed cleaning chamber is defined between the inside of the apparatus and the outside (12) of the body (10), that a number of spraying bodies arranged in connection with the apparatus is brought to spray the surface (12) with a pressure fluid containing an abrasive agent to loosen contaminating materials, that the mixture of contaminating materials and spent abrasive agent is led away via a suction section, in a closed way for further processing, that means are used to move the apparatus (20) along the pipe surface (12), and that the abrasive agent possibly is separated and used again. An apparatus (20), a frame construction and also a pipe construction for distribution of particles are also described.

A device of a descaler head is described with circumferentially following and longitudinally following rows of descaler parts (22, 24, 26) where the descaler head comprises: a shaft (12) onto which are fed a number of holding elements for the descaler parts (22, 24, 26), said holding bodies are held together in axial direction with the help of adjustable gripping appliances on the carrier shaft, and each descaler part is connected to associated holding bodies via connecting means that are each in the form of a relatively short length of chain, piece of wire or similar flexible connecting means, at a distance from the rotational axis of the descaler head. The descaler head is characterised in that each holding body is formed by two mutually separated disc-formed elements(30, 32), with the descaler elements (22, 24, 26) being arranged held in between the plate elements of the holding body with mutual distance along their periphery, with each holding body (30, 32) being shaped with means to prevent mutual twisting in relation to the adjoining holding bodies.
