Abstract: A thin-film coating applicator assembly is disclosed for coating substrates in outdoor applications. It is a primary object of the innovation described herein to provide a facile means of applying coatings of field installations of substrates post-manufacture, as, for example, an array of photovoltaic panels installed outdoors at a power generation facility, an array of solar thermal panels installed on a building roof or in another outdoor location, and the like.
