Abstract:
The invention relates to an inspection chamber part (3, 4, 5) comprising a spigot- socket structure (10). This spigot- socket structure comprises a spigot shaped first section (11) and a socket shaped second section (12). The sections are integrally connected to each other, at least initially and at least one of the sections is integrally connected to the inspection chamber part. The first and second section have a compatible shape, such that if the integral connection between the first and second section were to be severed, the first section could closely fit into the second section so as to establish a spigot- socket connection. The inspection chamber part may be integral part of a monolithic inspection chamber or be a separate part, such as a base, a shaft or a cone from which a modular inspection chamber can be assembled. The invention furthermore relates to a method for preparing such an inspection chamber part for installation.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an arrangement (1 ) for easy installing and stably supporting a ladder (2) in a passageway or manhole (7), such that damage to the wall (4) of the passageway due to for example penetration of fastening means is minimized. The invention provides an arrangement for supporting a ladder (2) comprising positioning brackets (5, 105) for positioning the lower part of the ladder at a distance from the inside wall (4), which positioning brackets are secured against the surface of the inner wall by a resilient elongated member (6). By bending this elongated member (6) in a ring shape and positioning this member inside the passageway (7), it exerts a radially directed force and thus clamps itself in position against the wall (4). Because the elongated member (6) clamps itself in a fixed position, the elongated member dos not need to be secured to the wall (4) by for example bolts. Thus the wall (4) maintains its structural integrity.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pipe coupling comprising a coupling body (2) and an outer ring (10) partially disposed around the coupling body, which together form a chamber for accommodating a pipe end. The chamber has an insertion opening for the respective pipe end at the axially outermost end in the outer ring. A passage opening and stop means (4) are provided at the axially innermost end in the coupling body in order to limit the insertion length of the pipe end inside the coupling. The outer ring is provided with a radially inwardly directed narrowing wall section (14). Furthermore, the pipe coupling comprises a clamping ring (50) which is arranged in the chamber and which, in use, engages on the exterior of the pipe end, and has an outer surface which is designed to interact with the narrowing wall section of the outer ring in such a manner that the gripper ring engages on the pipe wall more tightly when the clamping ring is moved axially outwards. In addition, the pipe coupling comprises a tubular core part (40) which is arranged inside the chamber so as to be coaxially movable with the clamping ring and which is designed to be received in a pipe end. The core part, at one end, has a flange section (41) which has a larger diameter than the tubular part. The flange section is retained by the stop means near the axially innermost end of the chamber and the clamping ring in the axial direction.

The invention relates to the use of a carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) for preparing fruit-based products, such as jams including low calory jam, fruit preserves, pie fillings, fruity sauces, fruity fillings in cookies, fruit-based toppings, or beverages, wherein the CMC is characterized by forming a gel at 25 o C after high-shear dissolution in a 0.3 w% aqueous sodium chloride solution, the final content of the CMC in the aqueous sodium chloride solution being 1 wt% for a CMC having a degree of polymerization (DP) of >4,000, 1.5 wt% for a CMC having a DP of >3,000-4,000, 2 wt% for a CMC having a DP of 1,500-3,000, and 4 wt% for a CMC having a DP of >1,500, the gel being a fluid having a storage modulus (G’) which exceeds the loss modulus (G’’) over the entire frequency region of 0.01-10 Hz when measured on an oscillatory rheometer operating at a strain of 0.2. The CMC may also be used in combination with hydrocolloids such as carrageenan, starch, alginates, xanthan, konjac, or food protein.
Abstract:
Rubber compositions are provided having improved physical properties. More particularly, the present invention relates to sulfur-vulcanized rubber compositions which are vulcanized in the presence of certain bis-succinimide coagents, which possess anti-reversion and/or accelerating properties. The invention relates to a sulfur-vulcanization process which is carried out in the presence of one or more bis-succinimide coagents, and to the use of bis-succinimide coagents in the sulfur-vulcanization of rubber. Finally, the invention relates to rubber products comprising rubber vulcanized with sulfur in the presence of one or more bis-succinimide coagents.
Abstract:
Deformation device (25) for deforming a saddle fitted in a pipe (26) with branch pipe (36), said saddle comprising a saddle plate (20) and saddle branch (21) comprising a balloon (4) with an inner cylinder (35). The device (25) is carried by a flexible hose (5) which is connected at one end to a gas inlet (34) provided with a connection piece (39) and at the other end to a plunger (31) which slides so that it seals in an inner cylinder (35). When medium is admitted to an expansion chamber (7) formed between plunger (31) and a shut-off flange (17), carrier (3) with balloon (4) is moved away from the hose (5) outwards, and plunger (31) is pulled inwards again by retraction spring (8). A pressure plate (19) for pressing the saddle plate down bears releasable spring-loaded clamping elements (23) for retaining a saddle plate (20).
Abstract:
Method for lining a pipeline (1), in particular a sewer, by means of a deformed pipe liner (4) section (2) with a wall made of thermoplastic material, comprising inserting the pipe liner section (2) into the pipeline (1), shutting off the pipe liner section at its ends, in a first step supplying a heating and pressure medium to the inside of the shut-off pipe liner section, for the purpose of supplying heat to the pipe liner section (2) and exerting a first pressure on the pipe liner section (2), so that the latter comes to rest against the inside of the pipeline (1), and in a second step, after the wall of the pipe liner section (2) has reached a predetermined temperature profile and the supply of heat has ended, supplying a pressure medium to the inside of the shut-off pipe liner section (2), for the purpose of exerting a second pressure on the pipe liner section (2), which second pressure is higher than the first pressure. In this case the second pressure is increased gradually.
Abstract:
Method and device for fitting an inner tube in an existing pipeline, using air venting means, and also pipeline with inner tube of thermoplastics fitted in a stretched state therein. Lining of a pipeline (1) by placing therein an inner tube (2) of thermoplastic plastic and inflating it by medium pressure, thus forming an inner tube lining (2'), and subsequently cooling it under medium pressure. In order to prevent the inclusion of air between inside of pipeline (1) and outside of inner tube (2) to be inflated, longitudinal ribs of low height are provided on the outside (2a) of the inner tube (2). During the inflation the inner tube (2) also forms a sealing flange (20) extending over the end face (26) of the pipeline (1). A device for inflating the inner tube (2) comprises a coupling piece (17) which can be connected in a tension-resistant manner to the pipeline (1) and is provided with a connection (16) for introducing a pressure medium into inner tube (2).

Abstract:
A top piece (4) for a manhole structure (1) for, for example, a sewer system comprises an access part (6) and a cone (5) which connects to the access part (6) and can be placed on a manhole structure shaft (3) with a peripheral edge (17) on the side of the cone (5) situated opposite the access part (6). The cone (5) has a substantially outward curved basic shape. In the region of the transition (21) from the access part (6) to the cone (5) a reinforcement rib (22), which is substantially parallel to the plane in which the peripheral edge (17) is situated, is provided on the outer surface of the cone (5), extending over the entire periphery of the cone (5). This gives the cone (5) greater resistance to pressure forces in the region of the transistion (21) to the access part (6).
