The invention relates to means for making a liquid mixture, for example tea - lemonade - chemical liquids - medicines and the like in a simple manner. The object of this is that the medium to be admixed may be contained in a heat resistant container, which may also have a stirring function and which may be capable of giving off a flavour to the liquid. The strength of the mixture can be determined in a simple manner by opening or closing the container. After the desired admixing has taken place, the container can be closed, so that the medium to be admixed can be put away in a clean and leakage -proof manner.

A process for preparing a curable polymer comprising the steps: (I)providing a pre-polymer comprising a backbone and, pendant thereon, side chains (a) comprising a poly(ethylene oxide) group and side chains (b) comprising a reactive group A which is capable of reacting with reactive group B mentioned in (II) below, wherein said side chains are free from ethylenically unsaturated groups; (II)providing a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group and a reactive group B; and (III) reacting said reactive groups A and B together thereby forming a covalent bond between the said pre-polymer side chains (b) and the compound to give the curable polymer. The curable polymers have an ethylene oxide content of at least 50wt% and are useful for preparing membranes e.g. for gas separation.

There is disclosed a wrench (1), closed end wrench or socket wrench comprising a rotary head (2) and a double-acting rotary head mechanism (3) provided with ratchet means (4). The mechanism is provided with pulling means (5) comprising a pull cord (6), which are connected to the rotary head. When the pull cord is pulled, the rotary head will move in one direction or the other direction, depending on the setting of a tilting element (17). Classic wrenching with the wrench, possibly with the associated ratcheting sounds, remains possible.
