Abstract: A lining system for lining a chamber (10) of a formalin vaporizer (1), wherein the lining system comprises a receptacle(40) made from a perfluorinated polymer material and having an inlet (46) for adding fluids to the receptacle and at least one outlet (48) for the release of vapour from the receptacle.The invention extends to a vaporizer (1) having an evaporation chamber (10) lined with the receptacle (40), a method of using the vaporizer (1) and a kit (50) for converting a formalin vaporizer for use with sterilants that corrode stainless steel, aluminium or other corrodible materials.
