    Abstract: Certain versions generally provide an improved tibial base member (for example, but not limited to, 10) comprising keel portions (for example, but not limited to, 14a, 14b, 14c) that allow one or both cruciate ligaments to be preserved. Other versions provide improved lateral and/or medial inserts (for example, but not limited to, 110, 210) having a mesial lip (for example, but not limited to, 118, 128) that helps relieve and/or prevent impingement between the femoral component (for example, but not limited to, 400) and the tibial eminence. Other versions provide improved femoral components (for example, but not limited to, 400) having various chamfers (for example, but not limited to, 404, 410, 470) to provide additional clearance with respect to the tibial eminence and posterior cruciate ligament without decreasing bone coverage.

    Abstract: A knee system includes a knee prosthesis having a tibial arrangement including a tibial tray configured for attachment to a surgically-prepared surface of a proximal end of the tibia. The tibial arrangement also includes a tibial insert system including a lateral tibial insert and a medial tibial insert. One of the inserts is configured to move in a generally anterior-posterior direction relative to the tibial tray, and the other insert is configured for fixed attachment to the tibial tray. The knee prosthesis also includes a femoral component configured for attachment to a surgically-prepared surface of a distal end of a femur. The femoral component and tibial inserts each have articular surfaces configured to contact and articulate relative to each other during extension and flexion of the knee.

    Abstract: A tibial tray system includes a tibial tray configured for attachment to a surgically-prepared surface of the proximal end of the tibia. The tibial tray includes a track disposed in a generally A-P direction. The tibial tray system also includes a spline configured to engage the track and to be positionable in at least one location along the track. The spline includes a bearing surface that is configured to contact a femoral component of the knee prosthesis to guide movement of the femoral component during extension and flexion of the knee.
