Abstract:
Process for manufacturing particles from energetic material(s) and/or propulsion material(s) whereby said particles are formed from droplets of said material(s) as a melt. The temperature of a droplet-forming device thereby used is continuously controlled. Said droplets are solidified to said particles during falling.

Abstract:
The invention refers to a composition material that is intended for rapid transmucosal delivery in the mouth of a biologically active substance when in contact with saliva. The composition material comprises at least one ionic carbohydrate, having at least one biologically active substance ionically bound thereto, and at least one wetable non-soluble polymeric carbohydrate. The invention also refers to a method of preparing the composition material, which comprises the steps of: (a) providing a mixture of the at least one biologically active substance and at least one ionic carbohydrate in a solvent having a permissive pH for ionic bonding of the at least one biologically active substance to the at least one ionic carbohydrate; (b) mixing the mixture in the solvent for a period that is sufficient for allowing the ionic bonding to take place; and (c) recovering the mixture from the solvent.
Abstract:
A process for manufacturing essentially spherical, porous particles of narrow particle size distribution, where a water solution containing one or more polysaccharides is being transferred onto a heated spinning disc, the temperature of which is continuously controlled, droplets of said solution are being ejected at the periphery of the disc, and said droplets are solidifying to particles during descent into a water catch, whereby the process takes place in an enclosure without opening and whereby no water vapor is added within said enclosure.
Abstract:
Closure for a container for keeping pressurized or carbonated beverage, comprising means for dispensing the beverage from the container so that dispensation of gas not being dissolved in the beverage is prevented or reduced until all beverage has been dispensed, and being provided with means for permitting, preventing and optionally regulating dispensation of the beverage. Set comprising a container for keeping pressurized or carbonated beverage and a closure as disclosed above. Preferably the container is a standardized PET bottle. Preferably the beverage is a carbonated beverage, such as mineral water or soda or beer or sparkling wine or champagne.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a seating apparatus, and more particularly to a combined table and chair. We describe a seating apparatus comprising a table (25), a chair (26) and a table base (16) wherein the table comprises a table top (10) and a table leg (11) defining an axis about which axis said table top is rotatable with respect to the table base; wherein the chair is mounted for rotation with said table top about said axis. In a preferred embodiment, the chair comprises a seat (21) and a chair frame (31) upon which the seat is mounted, wherein the frame includes at least one floor-engaging leg (22). Preferably, the table leg has upper and lower ends, the lower end being mounted for rotation upon the table base and the chair frame is mounted upon the table leg at a point intermediate the upper and lower ends thereof. More preferably, the chair frame is mounted substantially adjacent the lower end of the table leg.
Abstract:
The present invention is a process of manufacture of one or more polysaccharide beads, comprising generating an aerosol of an aqueous polysaccharide solution, cooling the droplets of said aerosol in air to initiate gelling thereof and collecting droplets as gelled beads in a liquid or on a surface, characterised by adding a hydrophilic vapour pressure-lowering agent to said polysaccharide solution.
Abstract:
In a method for cutting food products, a food product is scanned by detection, while utilising nuclear magnetic resonance or X-radiation. The distribution of different types of tissue in the product is determined on the basis of the signal information obtained in the scanning. The positions of suitable cuts in the product are determined on the basis of the distribution of tissue types in the product and the intended purpose of the cuts, and the cuts are performed in the positions as determined. A device for carrying out the method comprises detecting equipment (1), a signal-processing apparatus (4) and a cutting apparatus (5, 5').
