摘要： The present invention relates to a composition comprising Wercklea insignis extracts and fractions thereof for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases or asthma. The Wercklea insignis extracts and fractions thereof according to the present invention inhibit the generation of NO and PGE2 TNF-a which are rapidly increased by the artificial induction of inflammation in macrophages, inhibit the expression of iNOS and COX-2, inhibit MAPK protein phosphorylation, inhibit the nuclear transfer of NF-? ?, and reduce the quantities of cytokines IL-6 and IL-1beta, thereby inhibiting inflammation, inhibiting podedema in a carrageenan-induced mouse model, and significantly reducing the quantities of Th2-type cytokines IL-4 and IL-13 which increase in asthma or allergy. Therefore, the Wercklea insignis extracts and fractions thereof according to the present invention may be valuably used in a composition which is intended for medicine or health-promoting foods and which may require the Wercklea insignis extracts and fractions thereof as active ingredients for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases, allergies, and asthma.

摘要： The present invention relates to an anoikis-inducing agent comprising a Tiarella polyphylla extract, a tiarellic acid compound isolated therefrom or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which is specific to cancer cells expressing a tumor-associated antigen L6 or a homolog thereof. The Tiarella polyphylla extract, the tiarellic acid compound isolated therefrom or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof of the present invention leads to loss of cell adhesion to reduce cancer cell proliferation and exhibits the effect of inducing cell death in cancer cells expressing a tumor-associated antigen L6 or a homolog thereof, thereby being used for preventing and treating cancer diseases due to a tumor-associated antigen Lβ or a homolog thereof.

摘要： The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating inflammatory disease containing an Ardisia tinctoria (Ardisia tinctoria Pit.) extract or a fraction thereof as an active ingredient. More specifically, it has been confirmed that an Ardisia tinctoria extract or a fraction thereof suppresses the production of nitric oxide which is sharply increased by inflammation induction, and it has been confirmed that the Ardisia tinctoria extract is effective in markedly reducing the amount of PGE2, IL-6 (interleukin-6) and IL-1 beta cytokine in a dose dependent fashion, and that it inhibits the expression of iNOS and the COX2 gene and protein and inhibits nuclear translocation of p65 protein and phosphorylation of signal transducers. Also, it has been confirmed that the Ardisia tinctoria extract and an ethyl acetate fraction are effective in suppressing inflammation in a carrageenan-induced mouse podedema model as well. Consequently, the Ardisia tinctoria extract or fraction can be used to advantage as an active ingredient in compositions for preventing and treating or alleviating inflammatory related diseases, or compositions for topical skin preparations, cosmetic compositions and health foods.

摘要： The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases, allergic diseases or asthma, containing a Diospyros blancoi A.
