Abstract: Device for longitudinal division of a band (2) into several strips (4a, 4b) and for winding the strips (4a, 4b) onto a reel (6). To ensure alignment of the edges of the individual strips (4a, 4b) on the reel, the traction exerted on each strip (4a, 4b) on the reel (6) common to all strips is controlled at a constant value.
