    Abstract: Onboard medium-voltage vessel electric charging apparatus (10) and method for onboard medium-voltage charging enabling compensating for voltage variations of at least one energy storage device (60) during charging thereof. The onboard medium-voltage vessel electric charging apparatus (10) is connected to an AC power supply (40) on one side and at least one onboard energy storage device (60) on the other side.
