A cabinet-style containment device configured to accept at least one sterilization tray, that addresses one or more of the ergonomic and safety concerns. At least one containment device is combined with at least one transport cart for safe and ergonomic transport and aseptic presentation of the sterilized load, that incorporates a vertical adjustment mechanism as part of the transport cart for height adjustment while loading and unloading into the sterilization chamber such as an autoclave, storage, transporting, and loading and unloading of contents while maintaining aseptic presentation of the load by adjusting to each user's sterile field.

    摘要: Systems and methods for reducing airborne contaminants are provided. An air treatment system may include an opening and a filter assembly, a fan coupled to a sanitizing chamber, and an exhaust portion configured to release airflow that has passed through the sanitizing chamber. The fan may be configured to generate an airflow of filtered air through the sanitizing chamber, and the sanitizing chamber may include at least one bend having a total bend angle of at least 90 degrees and at least one straight channel with an array of ultraviolet (UV) light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to irradiate the airflow with UV radiation. A ratio of a total length of the sanitizing chamber to a cross-sectional area of the sanitizing chamber may be at least 25.

    摘要: An apparatus and corresponding method for air sterilization and disinfection can include an electronics and control module, a means for drawing air from the surrounding environment into the apparatus, an air management chamber, and a housing. The means for drawing air from the surrounding environment into the apparatus mobilizes latent pathogens in the environment and draws them' into the apparatus for sterilization and disinfection. The air management chamber provides for exposure of the airborne pathogens to UV radiation, via UV LEDs, with a dosage sufficient to penetrate the cell walls and destroy the pathogens. The electronics and control module powers the apparatus and interfaces with the electronic components. The housing forms the outer shell of the apparatus.
