Abstract:
The invention relates to nail varnish which comprises at least one effect pigment and at least one micronized wax, and to a method for producing the same. The invention further relates to the use of at least one micronized wax in nail varnish and to an article provided with the nail varnish. The invention also relates to a mixture of at least one pigment and at least one micronized wax.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a colored flaky metal pigment, in which a metal base pigment comprises a silicon dioxide layer and a layer or a number of layers having one or more coloring material(s). The invention also relates to a method for producing a colored metal pigment of this type as well as to the use of the same in cosmetics.
Abstract:
In a vacuum switch tube (10) designed specifically for use in a load-break switch, the coaxially facing contact pins (4, 5) are made of chrome nickel steel; the front faces of the contact pins (4, 5) form the contact surfaces. This vacuum switch tube (10) is designed specifically for the function ''switching off the load current''. For this purpose, the contact of the vacuum switch tube (10) is closed just before a parallel switch contact (12) opens.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cosmetic preparation containing a metallic effect pigment which consists of a metal substrate having a layer enclosing the substrate. Said layer is produced in a sol/gel method, has a barrier effect against sweat and saliva and prevents a direct contact between skin and metallic substrate, the metallic pigment being hydrophilic. The inventive preparation can be in the form of a cream, a lotion, an eye shadow, a nail varnish, a lipstick, a mascara, a gel, a make-up formulation or a self-tanning cream or lotion.
Abstract:
The invention relates to pearlescent pigments, comprising a substantially transparent, platelet-shaped substrate, having a density ds, and at least one optically effective coating having a density dM, wherein the substrate has a mean size d50 of n 3 to 8 µm, and a mean height hs of 40 to 110 nm. The invention further relates to a method for the production of the pearlescent pigments, and the use thereof.
Abstract:
The invention relates to platelet-shaped pearlescent pigments which are coated with at least one mixed inorganic/organic layer for improving their application properties, and in this case, particularly, their mechanical properties, and to a method for the production and use thereof. Said mixed inorganic/organic layer comprises at least one partially cross-linked inorganic metal oxide component and an organic component, which is at least one organic oligomer and/or polymer which is covalently bonded, at least in part, to the inorganic network via crosslinkers. The coating is provided with at least one mixed inorganic/organic layer which contains, at least in part, an inorganic network encompassing one or several inorganic oxide components, and at least one organic component which at least partly represents an organic oligomer and/or polymer that is covalently bonded at least in part to the inorganic network via one or several organic network formers. The invention also relates to a method for producing said type of pearlescent pigments.
Abstract:
In the primal cutting-up of half carcasses of animals (12) vision systems are known whereby the determination of one or more fix points on the carcasses takes place, and where on the basis of the position of these points a visualisation of the ideal cut line is effected. But the primal cutting-up of carcasses (12) has hitherto been carried out with manually-operated saws on the basis of operator evaluation. However, the use of manually-operated saws involves the possibility of deviations in relation to the ideal cut line, and the manual work is very monotonous and fatiguing for the operators. There is thus disclosed a laying-down module (2) and a vision-based system for automatic primal cutting-up of half carcasses, comprising a laying-down module with a laying-down conveyor (18), and a laying-down and angle-positioning module (6) with sideways displaceable conveyors for positioning of a relevant carcass (12) for sawing-up in a subsequent saw module (8), and a method for the execution of automatic primal cutting-up of meat items, namely half carcasses of animals.
