Abstract: A universal joint includes a yoke (16) connected to a cruciform (20) by bearing cup assembly(48). The bearing (10) cup assembly includes a bearing (52) cup, a bearing (50) and an integral seal deflector retainer (60) . The bearing cup assembly is rotatably coupled to a trunnion (44) of the cruciform. The integral seal deflector retainer includes a case (120) engaging the cruciform to retain the bearing assembly on the trunnion.
