Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic compactor configured to be fastened to the cover structure of an underground collection container, for compacting waste materials. The hydraulic compactor comprises a filling opening equipped with a hatch, via which the waste material may be entered into a compressing space inside the compactor, a press member being provided above the compressing space and being movable in the vertical direction inside the compactor. The press member presses the waste material fed into the compressing space against the bottom plate of the compactor. The bottom plate of the compactor is a hydraulic bottom plate opening in the horizontal direction, via which the waste material compressed in the compressing space is dropped into the underground collection container. The invention also relates to an underground collection container comprising a compactor.

Abstract: The invention relates to a waste feeding device configured to be mounted on the cover structure (19) of a waste container (10) and comprising a rotatable waste feeding drum (11), a lid (12) for a feeding hatch, and a gearing mechanism (14, 15). The waste feeding drum (11) comprises a waste opening (16) for feeding and discharging waste. The gearing mechanism (14, 15) transforms the movement of the lid (12) into a movement of rotation of the waste feeding drum (11) in such a way that when the lid (12) is opened, the waste feeding drum (11) rotates to a waste feeding position in which the waste opening (16) is underneath the feeding hatch, and when the lid (12) is closed, the waste feeding drum (11) rotates to a waste discharging position in which the waste opening (16) is facing the waste container (10), for emptying the waste feeding drum (11). The invention also relates to a waste container (10) that comprises the waste feeding device.
