    摘要: This invention is directed to a method for determining the available amino acid content, particularly lysine, in a foodstuff. A true ileal amino acid digestibility is used in conjunction with an amino acid derivatising reaction to determine the true ileal digestibility of the amino acid. The amino acid concentration in a diet and digesta is then determined. Co-efficients derived using the assay and the amino acid content of the foodstuff can then be used to calculate the available amino acid content of the foodstuff.
