Abstract:
Disclosed is a CNG tube trailer of the type in which it is constituted of a plurality of CNG tubes 13 to be charged with Compressed Natural Gas and a skid case 12 of which the plurality of CNG tubes 13 are installed therein. A refrigeration system for maintaining an internal air of the skid case 12 at a low temperature so as to enhance a charging efficiency of the CNG tube is installed at a one side of the skid case 12. This CNG tube trailer can make the charging efficiency of the CNG tube to be increased by maintaining an internal air of the skid case 12 at a low temperature. Also, it can accomplish approximately 240% enhancement of the charging efficiency in comparison with operation of the CNG tube trailer according to the prior art, which is filled with CNG under the high pressure without employing any refrigeration system. Since the CNG tube trailer according to the present invention can transfer CNG under a low pressure, it is possible to accomplish a stability of transportation. Because the CNG tube trailer can uniformly maintain the charging quantity of CNG regardless of weather, it allows for the uniform charging of CNG in a manner far more efficient than heretofore known and thereby resulting in a considerable reduction in costs.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a foam ejector for a ship, which is capable of generating and discharging fire extinguishing foam to a deck of the ship where a fire takes place, which constitutes a fixing basement to be installed at the deck of the ship, a fitting capable of performing left and right rotations about the fixing basement, an ejecting tube capable of performing up and down angular motions, and a rotational joint which is formed as a pipe connecting part of the type wherein a plug portion is inserted into a socket portion and two rows of pluralities of ball bearings for supporting rotations of the fitting and the ejecting tube are disposed within the rotational joint. Due to this structure, a relatively wide contacting and supporting area may be provided within the rotational joint so that the rotational joint can very firmly support an exhaust pressure of the fire extinguishing foam. Furthermore, it is possible to highly reduce the total overall weight of the foam ejector and thereby resulting in a considerable reduction in time and costs to be spent for the transportation and the installation of the foam ejector. Furthermore, a steering lever becomes easy and reasonable to be installed at the rotational joint and it easy to operate the foam ejector.
Abstract:
A gas type fire-fighting apparatus having a double detective function for ships, in which a smoke detector is installed in an air exhaust passage, with a sampling pipe used to introduce air inside a protected area to a smoke sensing unit by an operation of an exhauster unit, wherein the smoke detector connected to the smoke sensing unit can quickly, exactly and doubly detect a fire having broken out in the protected area and can feed fire-fighting gas to the protected area, thus allowing the apparatus to safely and reliably extinguish the fire, so that the present invention can adequately comply with the regulations defining the conditions of the gas type fire-fighting apparatus for ships in which the safety requirements have become stricter in recent years, without changing the structure of an existing gas type fire-fighting apparatus or arraying additional pipes in the existing apparatus.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a combined fire extinguishing system for a ship that is constructed by integrating a deck foam fire extinguisher and a high expansion foam fire extinguisher, which have been installed individually on board of a ship. In this combined fire extinguishing system, a foam storage tank, a pump, a valve and a pipe can be commonly used and be integrally controlled by a control unit. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce product costs and the number of steps in manufacturing of a deck foam fire extinguisher and a high expansion foam fire extinguisher. Also, it is possible to save space required by the deck foam fire extinguisher and the high expansion foam fire extinguisher. Since the deck foam fire extinguisher and the high expansion foam fire extinguisher can be controlled by using only one control unit, it is convenient for use.

Abstract:
Disclosed is multipurpose ozone treatment method and apparatus for a ship, which are capable of performing many treatments such as the purification of using-water used in the ship and wastewater generated during the ship voyage, the purification of harmful gas generated during engine operation of the ship or generated from internal space of the ship, and the refinement of remaining fuels supplied to the engine of the ship, by utilizing the sterilizing power of ozone gas generated from one ozone generator, which is employed for processing and sterilizing ship ballast water. Since the ozone gas generated from the ozone generator can be controlled at a proper concentration and then it can be supplied for treating ship ballast water, using-water, wastewater, noxious gas and remaining fuel due to operation of the mass flow controller, then economic efficiency and economic feasibility of the multipurpose treatment using ozone gas generated from one ozone generator can be highly improved, thereby improving convenience in use for various concentrations of ozonated water as well as significantly reducing the cost and time spent for the treatment.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fire extinguishing apparatus deployed adjacent to an assisted loading system, which system is provided at the bow end of a shuttle tanker to conduct loading/unloading of cargo such as crude and oil, in order to suppress any fire that may occur in the area of the system. Because the invention is not only devised in such a way as to selectively or simultaneously spray a fire extinguishing agent and seawater on oil fires or ordinary fires occurring within the interior space and on the deck of the area in which the assisted loading system is provided, but is also devised in such a way that the supply of the fire extinguishing agent and seawater is automatically and logically controlled by means of a control panel and magnetic valve, it follows that the present invention allows the time and cost required for deploying a fire extinguishing apparatus for use in an assisting loading system to be maximally curtailed and reduced, while at the same time it allows a more rapid and efficient response in the event of a fires and thereby allows the effective early suppression of fires.
