Abstract: A position sensing device (38) for a mirror assembly (10) displaced by an electric motor for a mirror assembly (10) having a memory unit which relies upon position information. The position sensing device (38) connects directly between the housing reinforcement member (20) and the mirror glass (22). The position sensing device (38) also includes inherent damping capabilities.
