Abstract: In this invention we have a health monitoring system in the drone which collects data from different sensors for different components of the drone respectively. Each type of sensor for the corresponding component of the drone has a baseline signature recorded taking into account the healthy functioning component of the drone. Whenever a specific type of sensor for the corresponding component of the drone records health data of the component which deviates from the baseline signature, the health monitoring system declares to a centralised system controller that the component is unhealthy, and transitions the drone into quarantine state where it transmits or receives only vital information if required and prepares for landing.

Abstract: In this invention we have an overhead power line which is used to charge drones. Overhead power line consists of one or more conductors suspended by towers or poles. Now magnetic fields emanate from such overhead power lines carrying Alternating Current. Also our drones when in charging mode dispenses a coil of wire and now any change in the magnetic environment of the coil due to the magnetic fields emanating from the overhead power lines will induce a voltage in the coil according to Faraday's law. The change could be produced by changing the magnetic field strength, moving the coil into or out of the magnetic field, etc. We also have a voltage regulator attached to the coil so that the voltage used in charging the drone is compatible with the electrical charging system of the drone.

Abstract: In this invention we have an intelligent image sensor which has a processor and memory locally integrated with it. Intelligent image sensor does object detection or filters objects of interest as programmed in its memory on the frames of images it has captured. Then the intelligent image sensor will learn the motions of different objects from the above frames and maintain a map of filtered objects or objects of interest with their respective motions. The above helps in faster object detection when the sensor captures continuous frames of image and the sensor intelligently keeps adding new motions of the object to the above map it maintains.

Abstract: In this invention for parallelism we partition the application's database into different shards and have exact replicas of the application run on top of these shards running on different virtual machines. Assuming that the application is stateful whenever there is a state change in one of the replicas of the application running on a dedicated virtual machine, the state change is not committed by the application replica on that virtual machine till all other application replicas running on their dedicated virtual machines receive and acknowledge that state change. If there is no response by any one of the virtual machines for a long time after repeated attempts to propagate the state change, the virtual machine or the application replica running on it is assumed to be down, and a new application replica with that old database shard on a new virtual machine is created.

Abstract: Here we have a primary database which maintains all versions of all it's records. Also along with version of the record, the timestamp at which the database record was created is also maintained. In addition to this, we maintain an auxiliary persistent hash map which acts as a digital ledger for all the transactions in the above primary database. The auxiliary persistent hash map has a primary key which is same as the primary key in the primary database and, the value as the list of checksum and transaction identifier unique for each version of the database record corresponding to the primary key ordered by their respective version numbers. We also maintain another persistent hash map with transaction identifier as the key and the value consisting of transactional details involving both the parties.

Abstract: Microservices is an architectural style that structures an application as a collection of loosely coupled services, which implement business capabilities. In this invention we define different builtin triggers for different data objects with different attributes. Triggers will be invoked when an attribute or a set of attributes of a data object is updated. Triggers can be synchronous or asynchronous in nature. Synchronous trigger will invoke the corresponding service in Microservices Architecture with the request object after which the service will perform the requisite workflow and computations, and push the response object to the datastore or update one of the attributes of the data object. Synchronous triggers are used where consistency is required. Asynchronous triggers function with the help of request and response queues for pushing request and getting response from the corresponding service in Microservices Architecture of the application.
