A method and apparatus can be configured to determine an uplink-downlink configuration. The method also transmits an indication of the uplink-downlink configuration. The transmitting the indication of the uplink-downlink configuration comprises using physical layer signaling. The transmitting the indication of the uplink-downlink configuration also comprises reusing an existing physical layer channel. The transmitting the indication of the uplink-downlink configuration is performed without extending physical layer associations.

A method includes, in response to a determination one or more quiet periods conflict with specified hybrid automatic repeat request feedback timing, sending one or more indicators to one or more user equipment to indicate to the user equipment to shift the specified hybrid automatic repeat request feedback timing to a shifted hybrid automatic repeat request feedback timing. The method includes communicating hybrid automatic repeat request feedback based on the shifted hybrid automatic repeat request feedback timing. Another method includes receiving at a user equipment one or more indicators indicating to the user equipment to shift specified hybrid automatic repeat request feedback timing to a shifted hybrid automatic repeat request timing, and communicating hybrid automatic repeat request feedback based on the shifted hybrid automatic repeat request timing. The present invention relates to method and apparatus for enabling re-establishment procedure in a heterogeneous network. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for a master node working with inter-site carrier aggregation in a heterogeneous network is provided. The method comprises: performing detection for whether there is a trigger for transferring UE context which is indispensable for a successful re-establishment procedure for a user equipment to at least one slave node; transferring, once said trigger is detected, said UE context to said at least one slave node. According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is also provided an apparatus of a master node, and corresponding computer program product.

Methods, apparatus and computer program products perform signal quality measurements for signals from a plurality of cells served by an apparatus, and transmit indications of the signal quality measurements to the apparatus. The signal quality measurements may include CQI measurements. Transmitting may include transmitting indications of the signal quality measurements to a source cell of the apparatus. Other methods, apparatus and computer program products perform signal quality measurements for signals from a plurality of cells served by an apparatus, determine, using at least the signal quality measurements, a frequency band to be used by each of the plurality of cells to transmit a command, and transmit an indication of the frequency band to the apparatus. Variants may include receiving over the frequency band the command from each of the plurality of cells.

The invention relates to a method for supporting in a wireless communication system an allocation of radio resources to connections between mobile stations (10) and access stations (30) of a network. Each access station serves a sub-area. Each connection uses a radio resource. A respective power sequence is associated to each sub-area. In the network, an indication of radio measurements performed by a mobile station (10) on signals received from a plurality of sub-areas is received. Further, for a plurality of radio resources, a respective value indicating a signal quality is predicted, which can be expected to occur in a connection between the mobile station (10) and an access station (30) when using a particular radio resource. The prediction is based on power sets associated to the plurality of sub-areas and on the radio measurements performed by the mobile station (10).

Methods for D2D connection re-establishment and related user equipments and radio access node are disclosed, wherein the D2D connection is established between a first user equipment and a second user equipment under the control of a radio access node. In one embodiment, the method comprises: receiving, by the first user equipments, a first message from the second user equipments, the first message comprising a first credential which is calculated by the second user equipment; verifying the first credential by the first user equipment; and sending a second message indicating acknowledgement of the D2D connection re-establishment from the first user equipment to the second user equipment upon successful verification of the first credential.
