摘要:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for wireless communication and more particularly for recovering missing RLC PDUs. In aspects, a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes determining whether one or more grant conditions are met, and transmitting a partial status protocol data unit (PDU) and a buffer status report (BSR) based on the one or more grant conditions being met before starting a status prohibit timer if the one or more grant conditions are met. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Methods, apparatuses, and systems are provided to determine the size of a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook to be transmitted over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). The HARQ-ACK codebook size may be determined by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) from the HARQ timing and/or counter downlink assignment index (DAI), or may be received in a downlink control information (DCI). HARQ-ACK resource determination may be based on the feedback timing. A WTRU may implicitly indicate the size of the HARQ-ACK codebook, and/or may fall back to a default HARQ-ACK codebook size.

A method for delivering payloads through an interface comprising: receiving an out-of-sequence data transfer unit, DTU; segmenting the out-of-sequence DTU into at least one data unit; determining at least one priority level of the at least one data unit; and for any particular data unit among the at least one data unit, selectively forwarding a payload of the particular data unit to the interface if its priority level satisfies a priority condition or holding the particular data unit if its priority level does not satisfy the priority condition.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining and utilizing resources for communicating an acknowledgment message (ACK). In certain aspects, a method generally includes determining a number of bits to utilize for communicating an acknowledgement (ACK) for a data transmission on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The method further includes determining a resource on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) to utilize for communicating the ACK based on the number of bits. The method further includes communicating the ACK on the resource.

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to block acknowledgment for MU-MIMO. A device may determine a first multiuser frame comprised of one or more subframes to be sent to one or more devices in a multiuser multiple input and multiple output (MU MIMO) group. The device may cause to set a first acknowledgement policy field in a first subframe of the first multiuser frame. The device may cause to send the first MU frame to the one or more devices. The device may identify a first block acknowledgement frame received from a first device of the one or more devices.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit a UE-generated uplink message to a base station to request resources for an uplink transmission. The UE may be configured to send the message (e.g., a scheduling request (SR)) using different transmission modes. For example, the UE may transmit the SR using a scheduled mode where the UE conveys the SR along with another uplink message (e.g., a control message). In some examples, the UE may transmit the SR using an autonomous mode where the UE transmits the SR in resources reserved for SR transmissions. The UE may determine which transmission mode to use based on certain characteristics of the SR or the data associated with the SR.

In a communication method to communicate between an access point (AP) and first and second communication stations (STAs) can include calculating joint transmission information based on the first and the second STAs, establishing an uplink communication between the AP and the first STA; and establishing a downlink communication between the AP and the second STA jointly with the uplink communication between the AP and the first STA based on the joint transmission information.

A system and method for device-to-device (D2D) communication includes a method. The method includes acquiring, by a destination user equipment (UE), a transmission scheduling assignment. The transmission scheduling assignment indicates transmission resources and feedback resources. The method further includes receiving, by the destination UE, a transmission using the transmission resources indicated by the transmission scheduling assignment. The method further includes determining, by the destination UE, a receive quality of the transmission. The method further includes indicating, by the destination UE, receipt of the transmission according to the receive quality of the transmission. The indicating is performed using the feedback resources indicated by the transmission scheduling assignment.

Updating an uplink contention window size in a listen before talk process in a wireless communication system (100) such as LTE may be done by the eNB (101) if transport blocks contained in the starting subframe of a reference scheduled burst transmitted by a User Equipment (103) are successfully decoded at the eNB. Otherwise, the User equipment adjusts the contention window size depending on information supplied by the eNB. This information identifies the first subframe in the burst whose transport block the base station was able to successfully decode. Depending on whether the User Equipment was first transmitting before or on the identified subframe, the User Equipment can either increase or reset the contention window size.

The following description describes a solution for increasing downstream throughput of Transmission Control Protocol, TCP,data packet involving flow control mechanism using a certain mechanism available in access networks, Radio Link Control. The solution is based on the use of the Radio Base Stations, RBSs, knowledge from the radio network to ensure optimal TCP throughput performance by influencing TCP flow control mechanism by adding a TCP ACK awareness functionality enabling retransmission of lost TCP data packets from the RBS.
