Abstract: Provided is a process for producing cold pressed palm fruit oil with maintained natural antioxidant and bioactive compound contents to be substantially similar to prior to undergoing the process, the process including the steps of cleaning (2) palm fruits until all foreign objects such as trash and dirt are substantially removed, sterilizing (3) the palm fruits from step (a) at temperature of between ambient temperature to 60°C at atmospheric pressure for a time period of between 5 to 240 minutes to produce substantially sterilized palm fruits, digesting (4) the substantially sterilized palm fruits at temperature of between ambient temperature to 60°C at atmospheric pressure for a retention time period of between 5 minutes to 60 minutes to produce substantially digested palm fruits, pressing (5) the substantially digested palm fruits at temperature of between ambient temperature to 60°C and at pressure of between 0 to 80 bar to produce the cold pressed palm fruit oil; and filtration (8) of the cold pressed palm fruit oil to remove gums such as phospholipids and phosphorus.

Abstract: The present invention provides a fertiliser device which is connected to a movable vehicle (6) and supported by a frame (12), the device includes a container (1), at least one measuring device (2), a spinning disc housing (3), a first engine (4), a gearbox (5), at least one channel (7), a second engine (8), a control box (9), a motor (10), a gear reducer (11) and at least one pedal (13), wherein, the first engine (4) provides power source to turn on the gearbox (5) for rotation of a spinning disc enclosed in the spinning disc housing (3), the rotation of the spinning disc provides a centrifugal force to fertilisers as contained in the container (1) to release the fertilisers into the at least one channel (7) whereby quantity of fertilisers is measured by the at least one measuring device (2).

Abstract: A process for producing crude palm fruit oil, the process comprising the steps of sterilising and threshing palm fruits to produce mass passing digester, pressing the mass passing digester to produce undiluted crude palm fruit oil (1), mixing the undiluted crude palm fruit oil (1) with dilution water to produce diluted crude palm fruit oil (2) containing aqueous phase between 5 wt.% to 70 wt.% and oil phase of between 30 wt.% to 95 wt.%, clarifying the diluted crude palm fruit oil (2) and recovering crude palm fruit oil from the mesocarp and the underflow clarifier (3), producing decanter solid (5) and diluted sludge wherein at least one silicate composition is admixed to the mass pressing digester, the undiluted crude palm fruit oil (1), the diluted crude palm fruit oil (2), the mesocarp, the underflow clarifier (3), an outlet sludge tank (4), the decanter solid (5) a plurality of sludge streams (6) or any combination thereof to form the crude palm fruit oil.

Abstract: A process for producing low free fatty acids (FFA)-crude palm fruit oil, the process including the steps of layering (101) oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) with at least one fruit ripening composition, incubating (102) the oil palm FFB for a time range of between 1 to 48 hours, segregating (103) the oil palm oil palm loose fruitlets and/or the partially stripped oil palm FFB to produce oil palm oil palm loose fruitlets, stripping (104) the partially stripped oil palm FFB to further produce oil palm oil palm loose fruitlets, cleaning the oil palm oil palm loose fruitlets, extracting undiluted crude palm fruit containing an aqueous phase of between 20 wt.% to 60 wt.%, oil phase of between 30 wt.% to 70 wt.% and non-oily solid phase of between 0 wt.% to 10 wt.% via an oil extractor apparatus (107) comprising a sterilisation unit (201), a digestion unit (202), a pressing unit (203) and a conveyor (200), recovering the undiluted crude palm fruit oil, mixing the recovered undiluted crude palm fruit oil with dilution water to produce diluted crude palm fruit oil containing an aqueous phase of between 20 wt.% to 80 wt.%, an oil phase of between 20 wt.% to 60 wt.% and a non-oily solid phase of between 0 wt.% to 10 wt.% and clarifying and/or centrifuging the diluted crude palm fruit oil or the recovered undiluted crude palm fruit oil, followed by purifying and drying wherein the total chlorine content of the low FFA-crude palm fruit oil is in a range of between 0.5 ppm to 5 ppm, phosphorus level of the crude palm fruit oil is in a range of between 5 ppm to 20 ppm and FFA levels of the crude palm fruit oil is in a range of between 0.5% to 5%.

Abstract: The present invention provides a process for treating palm oil mill effluent (POME), the process iacluding the steps of cooling the POME (1) in a cooling pond from a temperature range of between 60°C to 90°C to a temperature range of between 20°C to 60°C, flocculating suspended solids using at least one polymer or flocculating and coagulating suspended solids using at least one polymer and coagulants (2) to produce flocculated suspended solids or flocculated and coagulated suspended solids in the cooled POME, dewatering the flocculated suspended solids (3) to remove the flocculated suspended solids, clarifying the dewatered POME (4) to remove sludge from the dewatered POME, removing the coagulated suspended solids (5) from the dewatered POME, mixing the partially treated POME with at least one electrolyte (6) to produce ionised partially treated POME, delivering the ionised partially treated POME to an electro-oxidation ceII (7) to produce a treated POME or an active oxidizing agent and removing precipitate and/or suspended solids from the treated POME (8).
