Abstract: A condenser microphone mountable on a main PCB is disclosed. The condenser microphone of the present invention comprises a cylinder-shaped case having one side which is opened and the other side which is closed; a first metal ring inserted into the case for an electrical connection; a disk-shaped back plate having a sound hole to be connected electrically to the case through the first metal ring; a ring-shaped spacer; a cylinder-shaped insulating ring having an open top part and an open bottom part to provide an electrical insulation and a mechanical support; a diaphragm inserted into the insulating ring and facing to the back plate while interposing the spacer between the diaphragm and the back plate; a second metal ring for being connected electrically to the diaphragm and supporting mechanically the diaphragm; and a PCB that is mounted with electronic components and is formed with a sound hole, the PCB being connected to the back plate through the second metal ring and the case, the PCB including connection terminals connected to the outside. Accordingly, the condenser microphone maintains the sound quality in a good state since the sound wave transfer path is short even if the component mount region of the main PCB on which the condenser microphone is mounted is directed toward an inner side of the electronic product at need.

Abstract: A parallelepiped type condenser microphone wherein a sound hole is formed on a surface of a PCB is disclosed. The condenser microphone comprises a case, a metal ring, a back plate, a thin spacer, a cylindrical insulating ring, a diaphragm member, an annular conductive ring, and a PCB. Here, the metal ring, the back plate, the spacer, the insulating ring, the diaphragm member, the conductive ring, and the PCB are sequentially arranged in the case and then the condenser microphone is assembled by curling an end of the case. Thus, because a direction of the components can be confirmed during a process of SMD, components can be easily engaged each other. Accordingly, this can prevent connection surfaces of connection terminals of a main PCB and connection terminals of the condenser microphone from being deviated, and also decrease a failure of connection that may be resulted from change of connection or direction (polarity) of the connection terminals.

Abstract: A condenser microphone having a shape of parallelepiped for easily confirming the direction of a component in the process of SMD even if the microphone has two or more electric connecting terminals is disclosed. The condenser microphone comprises a case; a diaphragm member; a thin spacer; a cylindrical insulating ring; a back plate; an annular conductive ring; and the PCB. According to the present invention, since the direction of a component can be confirmed during a process of a surface mounting device (SMD), terminal connections of the component can be easily adjusted.
