Abstract: A pushchair (10) for restraining, supporting and transporting a child comprises a ground-engaging frame (12) to support a seat (14) for a child. The frame (12) includes a plurality of ground-engaging wheels (16) to facilitate movement of the frame (12) and one or more handles (17) to allow a carer to control movement of the frame (12). The seat (14) includes first and second seating components (18,20) mounted on the frame (12) to define a seat base and a seat back. Each seating component (18,20) includes a closed frame (12) over which a flexible membrane (24) is stretched to define a support surface.
