    摘要: A fluid dispensing apparatus and liquid container (10) with a fluid dispensing apparatus (50) are provided. The fluid dispensing apparatus (50) includes a valve body (30) defining a bore that extends at least partially through a valve body (30), and an adaptor (20) including a piercing member (27) positioned to pierce a pierceable membrane (44) enclosing the liquid container. The adaptor also includes a releasable fastener that cooperates with a portion of the liquid container (10) to releasably couple the valve body to the liquid container. A liquid droplet production apparatus (190) of the fluid dispensing apparatus controls a discharge of the liquid from the liquid container (10). The liquid droplet production apparatus (190) includes a perforate membrane (44), and an actuator that is selectively operable to vibrate the perforate membrane and cause liquid droplets to be emitted from the perforate membrane (44) and projected generally away from the liquid container (10).

    摘要: A process of providing a medium or high molecular weight polyester powder, the resultant polyester polymer powder, and a powder coating composition that includes such powder; wherein the process includes: providing or forming an ester oligomer; converting the oligomer to a polyester polymer by stirring at elevated pressure and elevated temperature a reaction mixture that includes the oligomer and a nonreactive carrier capable of forming an azeotrope with water and xylenes; removing water from the reaction mixture via azeotropic reflux to provide a syrup including a medium or high molecular weight polyester polymer in the nonreactive carrier; and applying a vacuum to remove the xylenes from the syrup and form a solid (which may be in the form of a powder or subsequently formed into a powder) that includes the medium or high molecular weight polyester polymer.
