Abstract:
A linear motion ball bearing (A) comprises a rail (1), a moving body (2) slidably fitted to the rail and a plurality of rolling bodies (4) disposed between the rail (1) and the moving body, and rolled and circulated with their relative sliding movement, wherein a solid film (16) of a fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer compound is formed at least at the rolling/sliding portions of the constituent elements. The molecules of this solid film (16) have a urethane bond and a three-dimensional net-like structure. Therefore, wear besides separation and peel-off is limited. In consequence, the suppression of dusting and the lubricity are improved, and a long life is achieved.
Abstract:
A feed screw including a screw shaft (1), a nut (2) meshed with the screw shaft (1), and a plurality of rolling members (3) inserted between the screw shaft (1) and the nut (2), wherein a solid film (5) of a fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer is formed on any portions in rolling/sliding contact. The molecules of this solid film (5) have urethane bonds, and form a three-dimensional reticular structure. Therefore, the film is unlikely to separate, peel off or wear. Accordingly, the feed screw produces less dust, improves lubricating property and thus elongates its life.
Abstract:
A ball-and-roller bearing in which rolling elements, or rolling elements and a pair of races are formed out of a ceramic material obtained by sintering a sintering material of silicon nitride containing at least silicon oxide out of silicon oxide and silicon carbide, and a MgAl2O4 spinel structure as sintering assistants. Such a ball-and-roller bearing has a high thermal resistance and a high abrasion resistance, and displays an excellent corrosion resistance when it is used in a corrosive atmosphere, this bearing having a long service life.
Abstract:
A solid film (5) of a fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer is formed on at least one of the constituent elements (inner and outer races (1 and 2), rolling member (3) and retainer (4)) of a rolling-contact bearing (A). The molecules of the solid film (5) of the fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer have urethane bonds, and form a three-dimensional reticular structure. Therefore, the film is unlikely to separate, peel off or wear, the occurrence of the dust can be restricted, and lubrication property can be improved.
