Abstract:
A solid film (5) of a fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer is formed on at least one of the constituent elements (inner and outer races (1 and 2), rolling member (3) and retainer (4)) of a rolling-contact bearing (A). The molecules of the solid film (5) of the fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer have urethane bonds, and form a three-dimensional reticular structure. Therefore, the film is unlikely to separate, peel off or wear, the occurrence of the dust can be restricted, and lubrication property can be improved.
Abstract:
This invention relates to grease for roller bearings which contains poly- alpha -olefin synthetic oil or diphenylether synthetic oil, urea thickening agent, and organic antimony compound or organic molybdenum compound; and a roller bearing in which this grease is sealed. The organic antimony compound or organic molybdenum compound reacts with the rolling surfaces of the inner and outer races and the surfaces of rolling elements in the bearing to form compound films which contribute to the reduction of the tangential force, and to prevent the generation of an excessively large tangential force during the high-speed rotation of a rotary part. This enables the lifetime of a roller bearing, which is used, especially, under severe conditions, to be prolonged.
Abstract:
A feed screw including a screw shaft (1), a nut (2) meshed with the screw shaft (1), and a plurality of rolling members (3) inserted between the screw shaft (1) and the nut (2), wherein a solid film (5) of a fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer is formed on any portions in rolling/sliding contact. The molecules of this solid film (5) have urethane bonds, and form a three-dimensional reticular structure. Therefore, the film is unlikely to separate, peel off or wear. Accordingly, the feed screw produces less dust, improves lubricating property and thus elongates its life.
Abstract:
A ball-and-roller bearing in which rolling elements, or rolling elements and a pair of races are formed out of a ceramic material obtained by sintering a sintering material of silicon nitride containing at least silicon oxide out of silicon oxide and silicon carbide, and a MgAl2O4 spinel structure as sintering assistants. Such a ball-and-roller bearing has a high thermal resistance and a high abrasion resistance, and displays an excellent corrosion resistance when it is used in a corrosive atmosphere, this bearing having a long service life.
Abstract:
A rolling sliding part is in relative rolling contact or sliding contact with a companion member, and is formed on a contact surface thereof with a lubricating film (5) composed of a polymer which contains fluorine with a functional group and in which particles (6) of polytetrafluoroethylene resin are dispersed and mixed. The lubricating film (5) exhibits a favorable lubricating property and generates little dust, and the particles (6) mixed in the film provide a favorable cushioning action under loading. As the lubricating film (5) itself and the particles (6) are fluorine based, they provide for a good compatibility therebetween.
Abstract:
A material used for rolling bearings such as roller bearings and ball bearings and, particularly, a bearing material featuring excellent rolling wear life properties. The material contains 0.95 to 1.10 mass % of C, 0.15 to 0.70 mass % of Si, not more than 1.15 mass % of Mn, 0.90 to 1.60 mass % of Cr and not more than 0.025 mass % of P, as well as S and O which are elements for forming non metallic inclusions in amounts of not more than 0.025 mass % and not more than 0.0012 mass %, respectively, the residue being Fe and unavoidable impurities. The material further contains not more than 0.020 mass % of AlN or contains not more than 1200 sulfide-type non metallic inclusions having a thickness of not less than 1 mu m per inspection area of 320 mm , to exhibit improved rolling wear life.
Abstract:
A mechanical part having a rolling contact surface (11a) with many isolated minute recesses. A maximum height Ry of a roughness curve R obtained by cutting this contact surface (11a) with a plane perpendicular thereto is 1-3 mu m. An attenuation peak height RPK obtained on the basis of a load curve M obtained from the roughness curve R has relation of RPK/Ry

Abstract:
A linear motion ball bearing (A) comprises a rail (1), a moving body (2) slidably fitted to the rail and a plurality of rolling bodies (4) disposed between the rail (1) and the moving body, and rolled and circulated with their relative sliding movement, wherein a solid film (16) of a fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer compound is formed at least at the rolling/sliding portions of the constituent elements. The molecules of this solid film (16) have a urethane bond and a three-dimensional net-like structure. Therefore, wear besides separation and peel-off is limited. In consequence, the suppression of dusting and the lubricity are improved, and a long life is achieved.
Abstract:
Formed in a spindle (2) is a cooling processing liquid passage (19) extending axially. Fixedly provided on a rear end of a housing (1) is a cylindrical cooling processing liquid supplying member (29) adapted to be inserted into the passage (19) with a gap therebetween. A radial spacing between an outer peripheral surface of the supplying member (29) and an inner peripheral surface of the passage (19) is made larger than a radial spacing between touchdown bearings (9) and the spindle (2) when the spindle (2) is supported in non-contact condition. Formed on the inner peripheral surface of the passage (19) is a spiral groove (21) to feed a cooling processing liquid forward over a distance from a rear end of the passage (19) which is longer than a distance, by which the supplying member (29) is inserted from the rear end of the passage (19) during rotation of the spindle (2). Formed in a rear end of the housing (1) is a processing liquid reservoir (32) communicating with a gap between the spindle (2) and the supplying member (29). Formed in the housing (1) is a drainage hole (33) communicating with the reservoir (32). Provided between the housing (1) and the spindle (2) is a labyrinth seal (28) for providing sealing between an area of the reservoir (32) in the housing (1) and an area forwardly thereof. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent failure of the entire magnetic bearing spindle apparatus.
Abstract:
A roller bearing consisting of races (1, 2) consisting of a metal or ceramic material, rolling elements (3) provided rollably inside the races (1, 2) and consisting of a metal or ceramic material, and a lubricating film (5) provided so as to cover the rolling portions of the races (1, 2) and/or rolling elements (3) and obtained by disperse-mixing a synthetic fluoro-resin in a resin binder having imide bond or amide-imide bond, and removing hydrocarbon gas from the resultant mixture. Since a temperature for firing this lubricating film (5) is set to such a level that permits a hydrocarbon gas to be discharged completely from the lubricating film (5) during a firing treatment for the lubricating film (5), the discharge of a hydrocarbon gas from the lubricating film (5) in a high-temperature environment is prevented.
