Abstract:
The invention concerns firstly a method for making tubular metal parts (10) with cylindrical shape by plastic deformation. Said method is characterised in that it consists in: inserting in a tubular blank (20) a cylindrical mandrel (30) comprising over only a fraction of its length, one or several alignment grooves (32) of predetermined orientation for example arranged ring-shaped; performing a spinning operation on the mandrel (30) so as to imprint the blank metal (52) in the mandrel grooves; extracting the mandrel (30), which causes the deformed blank (50) to swell perpendicular to the metal imprinted zones (50). Said method can be used to produce composite tubular shafts, for example, composite camshafts (200) by integrating in the tubular parts (210) directly mounted parts provided with an axial hole (251) such as cams (250), bearing rings and the like. The directly mounted parts (250) can be integrated in the tubular parts by crimping threading them between the steps of spinning and extracting the mandrel, the swelling which is generated when the mandrel is extracted thereby enabling the directly mounted parts to be crimped. The directly mounted parts can be integrated in the tubular parts by clamp fitting, the zones swollen (62) when the mandrel is extracted being calibrated to enable said clamp fitting.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an elastic elastomer joint which serves as a spring for a vehicle suspension device. The joint (1) defines an axis of rotation (Y) and comprises an inner fitting (2) and an outer fitting (4), connected by means of an elastic elastomer material. Said joint (1) is embodied for fixing by means of the outer fitting (4) to a longitudinal oscillating arm (40), connected to the axle of a vehicle wheel and, by means of the inner fitting (2), to the chassis of the vehicle and to oppose a torsional return force on subjection to a torsional load about the axis (Y). The outer fitting (4) comprises means for angular adjustment (41) of the joint about the rotation axis (Y) relative to the longitudinal oscillating arm.
Abstract:
The invention concerns an elongated hollow support structure designed in particular to support fittings in a motor vehicle located at right angle to its instrument panel, said structure (10) ends comprising openings (16, 17, 18) transversely opposite for passing through fixing elements and comprising anti-collapse means: the anti-collapse means consist of a plastic end cap (20, 30) inserted in said support structure (10), at the ends (14, 15) thereof, said end cap (20, 30) having a through passage aligned with said openings (16, 17, 18).
