The invention comprises an automotive seat base and an automotive having the same, teh seat base being made from a polymer in which microcellular structure is induced by gas in the core of the polymer from which the automotive seat base is made. Further, the automotive seat base comprises a further reinforcing feature to compensate for reduction in the polymer material on account of gas introduction structural feature/s that would allow less ribbing without reduction in mechanical strength. The said reinforcing feature may be chosen from a structural feature. In one embodiment of this invention, the said structural feature is a box structure (Figure 2). The automotive comprising an automotive seat base made from a polymer in which microcellular structure may be a two wheeler or a three wheeler or more wheeler. The two wheeler may be a motor cycle or a scooter or a moped.
Abstract:
This invention discloses an automotive panel air filter element made in plastic frame and method of making the same; wherein the air filter medium has surface area of more than13.32 square meter/square meter of the area of the air filter frame, fitted in filter frame with pleat pitch less than 4.5 mm. The automotive panel air filter of this invention is for use in 2 Wheelers, 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers or for multi-wheel trailers/containers. The illustrated automotive panel air filter has pleat depth 30mm, pleat pitch 2.5mm, a pleat count of 52 numbers per 24 square meter of the filter medium per square meter of the area of the automotive panel air filter; wherein, compared to prior art, the Dust Holding Capacity increased by 4.73 times, pressure restriction decreased by 2.56%, and efficiency in terms of cleanliness of the air passed through the filter is same.
Abstract:
This invention comprises a Seat Base of an automobile and a process of making the same. The Seat base comprising a flat sheet of rigid material for supporting a cushion seat for a person driving the automobile and a means for connecting the flat sheet to the chassis/body of the said automobile; wherein the Seat Base and the means for connecting the same to the chassis/body of the automobile comprises a single piece composite made by casting a polymer in to a mould and incorporating the means of connecting in that cast at the time of casting. In one illustrative embodiment, the polymer is polyurethane. The means for connecting comprises a Plate Assembly which comprising a metallic plate that is embedded at one surface in matrix of the composite of the Seat Base and the other surface is connected to the chassis/body of the automobile. The Seat Base of this invention may be fitted to, one or more, without limitation, a two wheeler, three wheeler, four wheeler or a multi-wheeler.

The invention comprises a damper or seat pad or a grommet at the interphase between the Seat Base and the chassis of an automobile vehicle, that helps to subdue or dampening or dissipating effect of the shocks and rattling sound that emanates from seat base between the Seat Assembly and the chassis of the automobile while the automobile vehicle is running; wherein the damper or the grommet is made from Semi-Rigid Integral-Skin Polyurethane foam, and a method of making the grommet from Semi-Rigid Integral-Skin Polyurethane foam. The invention also comprises a Seat Assembly comprising a damper as described above.

This invention comprises an Air filter element frame for the internal combustion engine of seal comprising a compressible seal or compressible gasket; illustrated by a polyurethane foam seal/gasket; and a process of making the illustrative seal/gasket wherein two parts of a mould provide a channel around the four margins of the air filter elements that have Guide Slots and molten polyurethane mixture is filled up, entrained with air bubbles and the compressible seal is formed around the margins. The Air filter element frame made of thermoplastic material combined with additives comprises an air filter element frame holding feature, filter paper media, a Guide Slot provided on all the four margins holding the polyurethane foam seal/gasket that facilitates assembly by press fitting. The filter paper media used are insert molded into the air filter element frame.
