Abstract:
A nanoparticle-based delivery system and methods for its use are disclosed. In one aspect, a nanoparticle-based delivery system comprising at least one molecule such as proteins, DNA/RNA or fragments thereof, carbohydrates, enzymes, chemicals, virus cells, bacteria, parts of a virus, parts of a bacteria, parts of a cell, part of a tissue, or a combination of one or more of these, which shall be referred to as immunogens, are chemically or physically combined with water soluble nanoparticles which, when administered to a living system, is capable of eliciting a desired immunological response More particularly, the invention relates to nanoparticle-based delivery systems that are specifically engineered to enhance humoral or cellular immune response without the use of adjuvants.
Abstract:
The present invention provides new compositions containing naear ly monodisperse colloidal core/shell semiconductor nanocrystals with high photoluminescence quantum yields (PL QY), as well as other complex structured semiconductor nanocrystals. This invention also provides new synthetic methods for preparing these nanocrystals, and new devices comprising these compositions. In addition to core/shell semiconductor nanocrystals, this patent application also provides complex semiconductor nanostructures, quantum shells, quantum wells, doped nanocrystals, and other multiple-shelled semiconductor nanocrystals.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to anti-VP1 antibodies, antibody fragments, and their uses for the prevention and treatment of polyoma virus infection and associated diseases.
Abstract:
The invention provides compositions and methods for treating diseases associated with expression of CD 123. The invention also relates to chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) specific to CD123, vectors encoding the same, and recombinant cells comprising the CD123 CAR. The invention also includes methods of administering a genetically modified cell expressing a CAR that comprises a CD123 binding domain.

Abstract:
A telescopic tank group comprising multiple tank bodies (1, 2, 3) that can be sleeved within a largest tank body when no load is being carried. When extended or retracted, neighboring tank bodies can be fixed using a stabilizing bolt (9) and a corresponding bolt hole (10). Additionally, a movable sealing flange (11) can further stabilize and seal the tank bodies. By using the structure, a load can be carried in both to- and return-journeys of a transport thereby solving the problem that half of the transport has no load, and more than two types of products can be carried at once.
