Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement (1) for a window (2) or some other covering element, which exhibits a window casement (4) or other outer casement for a covering element pivotally mounted and capable of being accommodated in a window frame (3) or some other frame. In accordance with the invention, an air admission passage (5) is present along at least one part of the aforementioned frame (3) and the outer casement (4) when the window (2), etc., is retained in the closed position.
