Abstract: A method of processing an indigo-dyed fabric which can impart in a relatively short period a vintage color which is equal to that of indigo-dyed fabrics having been actually stored or used over long and which is less apt to come out upon laundering, etc. and an indigo-dyed fabric to which such vintage color has been imparted. The method is characterized by applying a nitrogenous oxidizing agent to an indigo-dyed fabric and then heating the fabric.
