    Abstract: A fine particle containing a rare earth metal, characterized in that it is excited by a light having a wave length within the range of 500 nm to 2000 nm to undergo up-conversion light emission; and a fluorescent probe which comprises the fine particle containing a rare earth metal and a substance capable of bonding specifically with the fine particle containing a rare earth metal. The above fine particle can be exited by a light which does not adversely affect a material to be analyzed, and undergoes light emission with stability and with good efficiency.

    Abstract translation: 含有稀土金属的微粒子,其特征在于,其波长在500nm〜2000nm范围内的光被激发,进行上变换发光; 以及包含含有稀土金属的微粒和能够与含有稀土金属的微粒特异性结合的物质的荧光探针。 上述细颗粒可以通过不会对待分析材料产生不利影响的光退出,并且以稳定和高效率经受发光。
