    Abstract: An electric heating (resistance) element of rare earth thick film circuit based on glass ceramic substrate and a method for preparing it are disclosed. The element comprises the substrate and a serial slurry applied onto the substrate, and the serial slurry comprises package slurry and electrode slurry that both consist of functional phase, inorganic adhesive phase and organic carrier. The serial slurry further comprises rare earth resistance slurry. The composition of the substrate, package slurry, rare earth resistance slurry and rare earth electrode slurry is disclosed. The present invention has the following benefits: conducting heat vertically, heating temperature field being uniform and controllable, fast response speed, large power density, high resistance to heat impact, absolutely free of magnetic leakage, being beneficial to environment, energy saving and safe in utilization.
