Abstract:
The present invention concerns a valve and a method for producing a valve for regulating a fluid, the valve including a valve housing with a central part and with two connection ends, the connection ends extending away from the central part, thus indicating a flow direction for the fluid, wherein internally of the central part there is arranged a valve body including at least a shutoff part and a through-flow part. The valve seat is arranged in the valve housing and resiliently bearing against the valve body, the valve seat including a resilient structural part where the spring action from the resilient structural part acts in a direction which is substantially in parallel with the flow direction of the valve, and where the resilient structural part includes at least one annular flange part adapted for direct or indirect bearing on the valve body. The new feature of a valve according to the invention is that the resilient valve seat or seats include a fixing member for mechanical fixing of the valve seat in a valve housing, the fixing member including means, for example a flange part, fixed in a valve housing by plastic deformation of the valve housing and/or by plastic deformation of the means.
Abstract:
A valve (1) and a method for making the valve, the valve (1) including a valve housing (2) with a central part and with two connection ends, wherein internally of the central part there is arranged a valve body which is arranged in a valve seat and connected to a valve spindle, the valve spindle arranged in a spindle guide stub on the valve housing. The method includes that a tubular workpiece (2') is provided with a cutout (5) in the tubular workpiece (2'), that a plate-shaped workpiece (6) is provided, and that a plastic deformation of the plate-shaped workpiece (6) in the form of a collaring on the plate-shaped workpiece is performed whereby a spindle guide stub (3) is formed, as the spindle guide stub (3) has a collar (9) along its lower edge and a cutout (10) in the upper surface (8) of the spindle guide stub. The spindle guide stub (3) is welded on the tubular workpiece (2') by a laser welding running around the cutout (5) in it such that there is provided an internal welding seam (14) running along the edge of the inner opening in the collar (9) of the spindle guide stub and along the cutout (5) and at the outer side of the tubular workpiece (2'). Crevice corrosion is thereby obviated in the area at the joint between the spindle guide stub (3) and the valve housing (2).

The present invention concerns a valve and a method for producing a valve for regulating a fluid, the valve including a valve housing with a central part and with two connection ends, the connection ends extending away from the central part, wherein internally of the central part there is arranged a valve body, for example with a through-going aperture, wherein the valve body is arranged in a valve seat and connected to a valve spindle, the valve spindle arranged in a spindle guide stub on the valve housing. The new feature according to the invention is that the valve housing is made from a plastically deformed tubular item and includes a collared spindle guide stub, where the spindle guide stub includes at least one projection, the projection or projections extending in continuation of the spindle guide stub. This projection can be used as a lock ensuring that the valve spindle is retained in its intended position and at the same time such projections can form stops at the extreme positions of the valve body.
Abstract:
A method and a system (11) for stress-relieving annealing one or more first parts (4) of a workpiece (1), wherein a second part (3) of the workpiece contains heat-sensitive parts. A cooling jacket (8) is placed around the part (3) of the workpiece surrounding heat-sensitive parts such that the part or parts (4) to be annealed are located outside the cooling jacket (8). The first part or parts (4) are then heated individually by induction up to the annealing temperature of the material in a first annealing zone (12) in the system under simultaneous cooling of the second part of the workpiece located in the cooling jacket (8). After annealing, the workpiece is cooled in a cooling zone (13) in the system, as annealing as well as cooling of the workpiece occurs under a protecting atmosphere. It will be possible to make a metal workpiece by shaping the workpiece and place heat-sensitive parts in a second part of the workpiece before stress-relieving annealing a first part of the workpiece without the heat-sensitive parts of the second part of the workpiece being damaged by heat during the annealing operation. The annealed workpiece is e.g. connection ends on a valve housing where the connection ends (4) are shaped by plastic deformation after mounting valve seats, valve body etc. in the central part (3) of the valve housing.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a valve (1) and a method for shaping the valve housing, including providing a workpiece (2') with tubular ends (4), and on which is mounted a spindle guide (9) and with a valve spindle (8) mounted in the spindle guide (9), and a valve body (5) and one or more valve seats (7) mounted in the central part (3) of the workpiece. The central part (2) of the valve housing is shaped before shaping the connection ends, as the shaping of the central part comprises reduction of the tube diameter of the tubular end parts (4), preferably effected by plastic deformation thereof, preferably by dies and/or mandrels in one or more steps. The connection ends (4) are then shaped into their final shape, preferably by plastic deformation, preferably by dies and/or mandrels in one or more steps. Hereby it becomes possible to produce a valve housing (2) in one piece without the use of screw or flange joints on the valve housing, and with the least possible application of welding or soldering processes.
