Abstract: A track link (22) having sensor-receiving cavities (62) and a method (400) of producing a track link (22) is disclosed. The track link (22) may include a link body (50) and a cavity (62) formed in the link body (50) configured to receive a sensing device (32). The track link (22) may also include a protrusion (76) substantially surrounding the cavity (62). The protrusion (76) may include a substantially flat surface (78).
