Abstract: The present application describes an apparatus including a non-transitory memory including instructions stored thereon. The apparatus also includes a processor operably coupled to the non-transitory memory configured to execute a set of instructions. The instructions include sensing plural devices in a group to provide sidelink coordination. The instructions also include evaluating a coordination type of each of the plural devices, where the coordination type is scheduled and/or assisted. The instructions also include obtaining transmission and reception resources for the plural devices. The instruction further include determining the transmission and reception resources are dedicated or shared among the plural devices based on the coordination type. The instructions even further include determining a signaling type for each of the plural devices based on the coordination type.

Abstract: Cross scheduling of a component earner for vehicle sidelink communications may be achieved by explicit configuration, implicit configuration, or a combination thereof. A user equipment, UE, may be configured with a resource pool configuration, for example, pertaining to multiple resource pools, resource group partitions, and/ or component carrier groups. The UE may be configured to use fields such as a Carrier Indication Field and/or a Carrier Group Indication Field contained in a Physical Sidelink Control Channel, PSCCH. The UE may use the resource pool configuration in combination with where the UE is able to decode the PSCCH, with or with the C1F and/or CG1F, to determine a scheduled Component Carrier, CC, for sidelink communications.

Abstract: The present application at least describes a method for obtaining channel access in a network. The method includes a step of selecting, via a gNodeB, a spatial filter from a first set of spatial filters to perform listen before talk (LBT). The method includes a step of detecting, via the gNodeB, a channel in an idle state,. The method also includes a step of obtaining, a directional channel occupancy time (COT) in the channel in a direction of the selected spatial filter. The method also includes a step of transmitting, to a node, a channel access indicator transmission (CAI-T) on a beam in the cot via a spatial filter of a second set of spatial filters. The method further includes a step of receiving, from the node, a channel access indicator response (CAI-R). The method further includes a step of sensing, via short channel sensing and via the spatial filter or another spatial filter of the second set of spatial filters, the channel is clear. The method even further includes a step of sending, via the channel, information to the node using one or more spatial filters of the second set of spatial filters. Other embodiments of this aspect include corresponding computer systems, apparatus, and computer programs recorded on one or more computer storage devices, each configured to perform the actions of the methods.

Abstract: An electronic device including a transceiver to communicate with a network; and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to perform beam failure detection on a monitored cell; detect a beam failure on the monitored cell; determine at least one new set of candidate beam reference signals (CB-RSs) from at least one set of CB-RS configured for the device; determine if any CB-RS in the at least one new set of CB-RSs meets a criterion, and in a case that any CB-RS in the at least one new set of CB-RSs meets the criterion: select a beam corresponding to a CB-RS in the new set that meets the criterion as the new beam, and indicate the selected new beam to the network; and in a case that no CB-RS in the new set of CB-RS meets a criterion, indicate to the network that no CB-RS in the new set meets the criterion.

Abstract: A discoverer user equipment sends a discovery announcement to a discoveree user equipment via a sidelink service. The announcement includes criteria for a service sought by discoverer. The discoveree assesses the announcement and may respond to the discoverer. The discovery announcement may be a target search discovery announcement or a self-advertisement discovery announcement, and may be unicast, groupcast, or broadcast. The discoverer and discoveree may perform synchronization in support of V2X sidelink communication and may collect driving information pertaining to vehicles associated with the discoverer and discoveree, respectively, such as driving intention, positioning, and environment information. The discoverer may request an authorization for the discovery announcement, and the request may include the driving information. The information in the announcement and the response may include discoverer and discoveree service, platform, and radio capabilities, source identifiers, driving information, radio measurements, group identifiers, and protocol configuration parameters.
