    摘要: Processes associated apparatus and compositions useful for removing organic substances from substrates, for example, electronic device substrates such as microelectronic wafers or flat panel displays, are provided. Processes are presented that apply a minimum volume of a composition as a coating to the inorganic substrate whereby sufficient heat is added and the organic substances are completely removed by rinsing. The compositions and processes may be suitable for removing and, in some instances, completely dissolving photoresists of the positive and negative varieties as well as thermoset polymers from electronic devices.

    摘要: A biosensor component is provided that provides enhanced characteristics for use in biosensors, such as blood glucose sensors. The biosensor component comprises a substrate and a conductive layer coated on the substrate. The conductive layer includes nickel, chromium, and iron, such that a combined weight percent of the nickel and chromium in the conductive layer is in the range of 80 to less than 95 weight percent, and the weight percent of iron in the conductive layer is greater than 5 weight percent and less than 12 weight percent.

    摘要: Disclosed is a process for releasing ATP from living cells in aqueous mixtures of polymers or pigments. The aqueous mixture of a polymer or pigment is agitated in the presence of a particulate disruption agent to cause rupturing of the living cells and release of the ATP contained therein. Also disclosed is a process for detecting living cells in a aqueous mixtures of polymer or pigments by detecting the ATP released by the disruption process by a luciferin/luciferase assay. A kit for the detection of living cells in aqueous mixtures of polymers or pigments also is described.
