Abstract:
A method for displaying status information related to a portable device includes detecting a portion of a user in a detection zone using a proximity sensor, determining, using a control circuit, that the portable device is in a powered off or power saving state, acquiring, using the control circuit, information about the portable device while the portable device remains in the powered off or power saving state, and displaying, using a system status indicator controlled by the control circuit, a representation of the information about the portable device. The detection zone is defined in relation to a handle of the portable device.

Abstract:
An ultrasound system is disclosed. The ultrasound system includes an ultrasound device. The ultrasound device includes a housing, a control panel coupled to the housing, and a receiver assembly coupled to the housing, wherein the receiver assembly includes a first contact surface. The ultrasound system further includes a transducer assembly having an ultrasound probe and a cartridge, wherein the cartridge includes a second contact surface. The cartridge is configured to be removably received in a slot of the receiver assembly such that the cartridge is movable between a removed position, in which the transducer assembly is not connected to the ultrasound device, and an engaged position, in which the cartridge is positioned in the slot and the first contact surface is electrically coupled to the second contact surface.
Abstract:
A portable ultrasound system includes a main screen included in a hinged portion of the portable ultrasound system configured open and close relative to a main housing of the portable ultrasound system, a touchscreen included on a top surface of the main housing of the portable ultrasound system, and a touchpad included on the top surface of the main housing of the portable ultrasound system. The system further includes a processing circuit configured to perform general computing operations, configured to receive ultrasound imaging data, and configured to provide ultrasound information to at least one of the main screen, the touchscreen, or the touchpad.
Abstract:
A computing system includes a memory configured to store instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to receive data relating to an image or a user, determine a feature from the data, identify a user preference from a user profile, obtain a model, and segment the image based on the feature, the user preference, and the model. The model is generated by determining a historical feature from historical data as an input, determining a desired output, obtaining a preliminary model based on the input and the desired output, determining an actual output of the preliminary model, determining error criteria between the actual output and the desired output, and generating the model by updating the preliminary model based on the error criteria.
Abstract:
An apparatus for locking a transducer connector (402) to a transducer interface (302) of an ultrasound system (100) includes a sensor (320) configured to acquire data regarding a position of the transducer connector (402) relative to the transducer interface (302), a locking system (300) configured to facilitate locking of the transducer connector (402) to the transducer interface (302), and a processing circuit (351) communicably coupled to the sensor (320) and the locking system (300). The processing circuit (351) configured to interpret the data acquire by the sensor (320) and provide a lock command to the locking system (300) to lock the transducer connector (402) to the transducer interface (302) based on the data indicating the transducer connector (402) is engaged with the transducer interface (302).
Abstract:
An ultrasound system includes a display, an actuator, a user interface, and a processing circuit. The actuator is configured to control at least one of a position or an orientation of the display. The user interface is configured to receive a user input. The processing circuit is configured to cause the actuator to adjust the at least one of the position or orientation of the display based on the user input.
Abstract:
A portable ultrasound cart (400) includes a support structure (500) configured to releasably secure a portable ultrasound device (100). The support structure (500) includes a wall (517) and a planar surface (531) which define a recess (533) structured to receive a portion of the portable ultrasound device (100), a first male engagement feature (505) positioned to engage with a first female engagement feature (507) of the portable ultrasound device (100) and a second male engagement feature (509) positioned to engage with a second female engagement feature (511) of the portable ultrasound device (100). The portable ultrasound cart (400) also includes a tilt system positioned to adjust a tilt angle of the support structure (500) relative to a remainder of the portable ultrasound cart (100), and a release lever (513) linked to the second male engagement feature (509) such that when the release lever (513) is actuated, the second male engagement feature (509) of the portable ultrasound cart (400) disengages from the second female engagement feature (511) of the portable ultrasound device (100).
