Abstract: A frameless window module (10) allows operable windows to be placed in any location of a wood stud frame wall (14) without compromising the load bearing capability of the studs thereof. By using lift-off pivot hinges(30, 32), two panes of glass (26, 28) are respectively pivotally mounted to the exterior and interior surfaces of the wood stud frame wall (14). Pneumatic gaskets (122-128) enable to controllably regulate the air interspace captured thereby to provide a variable-insulation aperture. Interconection hinges (30, 32) cause the two glass panes (26, 28) of a module to move in concernt and/or serve to securely lock them in their closed position.
