摘要: A respiratory apparatus that is configured to provide a flow of gases to a user for respiratory therapy. The apparatus has a flow generator that is operable to generate a flow of gases and a controller that is operatively connected to the flow generator and operable to control a flow rate of the flow of gases by controlling the flow generator. The controller is configured during operation to: receive flow rate data indicative of or representing the flow rate of the flow of gases; process the flow rate data to extract or generate breathing data indicative of or representing the patient's breathing or respiration from the flow rate data; and process the breathing data to calculate one or more breathing parameter ratios representative of the ratio between inspiration time and/or expiration time to total respiration time for the patient's breathing cycle.

摘要: Disclosed is a breathing apparatus, the breathing apparatus comprising a flow generator, a flow path and a controller. The flow path may be configured to provide a flow of breathable gas to a patient. The controller may be configured to control the flow generator by controlling a flow generator output to the flow generator the controller may be configured to determine a predicted flow rate for the flow path, and/or a predicted maximum flow rate for the flow path and/or a predicted minimum flow rate for the flow path.

摘要: Systems and methods can determine respiratory rates of a patient using a respiratory device by performing one or more frequency analyses of a signal from the gases flow. The signal from the gases flow can be one that varies with the patient's breathing. The system can include a non-sealed patient interface, such as a nasal cannula in a nasal high flow therapy, or any other patient interfaces. The respiratory system can also detect whether the patient has taken off the patient interface and/or whether the patient connected to the patient interface is talking or eating. Data of the patient's use of the respiratory system and the patient's respiratory rates can provide therapy compliance and long-term trend of use information and/or progress in the patient's respiratory functions and/or other physiological functions.

摘要: Disclosed is respiratory assistance apparatus comprising a flow generator configured to provide breathing gases to a patient, the breathing gases comprising supplemental oxygen provided from an oxygen source. The respiratory assistance apparatus controller is configured determine a target oxygen concentration of the breathing gases and calculate an estimated future value of the patient's blood oxygen concentration based on a difference between an initial oxygen concentration of the breathing gases and the target oxygen concentration of the breathing gases, and the patient's blood oxygen concentration.

摘要: Systems and methods determining a nasal minute ventilation and peak inspiratory flow in unsealed respiratory therapy systems. The device can receive data of a parameter of a flow of gases of the respiratory device indicating the patient's respiration. The controller can process the data of the parameter of the flow of gases to remove noise. The controller can determine a device minute ventilation and convert the device minute ventilation to a nasal minute ventilation. The controller can monitor and/or display data relating to at least one of the nasal minute ventilation, nasal minute ventilation rate of change, and nasal minute ventilation trends. The respiratory device can trigger an alarm or notification when at least one of the nasal minute ventilation, the nasal minute ventilation rate of change, and the nasal minute ventilation trends exceeds or falls below a threshold.
