Abstract: According to various embodiments, a wireless communication device divides a plurality of transmission beams into one or more groups of transmission beams including at least a first group of transmission beams. The wireless communication device determines a first sensing beam requirement for the first group of transmission beams. The wireless communication device determines a first sensing beam and a first scale factor so that the first sensing beam satisfies the first sensing beam requirement scaled by the first scale factor. The first sensing beam is selected from a set of candidate sensing beams. The wireless communication device performs a first Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) using the first sensing beam and a first energy detection threshold (EDT), the first EDT determined in accordance with the first scale factor.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for reconstructing a communication channel that includes an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-aided reflective channel formed by an IRS and a first and second devices and a direct channel between the first and second devices. In a TDD system, the first device receives a pilot signal from the second device, generates sparsity information or subspace information of the communication channel, and reconstructs the communication channel based on the received pilot signal, the IRS' reflective pattern and the sparsity information or subspace information. In a FDD system, the second device receives a pilot signal from the first device in the communication channel, and sends signal strength information of the received pilot signal to the first device. The first device reconstructs the communication channel based on the signal strength information, the IRS' reflective pattern and subspace information of the communication channel.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, a method includes a user equipment (UE) receiving a first Listen Before Talk (LBT) configuration from a base station, the first LBT configuration indicating either a LBT mode or a no-LBT mode configured for the UE. The method further includes the UE receiving a second LBT configuration from the base station, the second LBT configuration indicating either the LBT mode or the no-LBT mode configured for the UE. The method further includes the UE applying LBT configuration after receiving the first LBT configuration and the second LBT configuration.

Abstract: Multi physical uplink shared channel (M-PUSCH) transmissions may be scheduled by a downlink control information (DCI) for a user equipment (UE), or may be semi-statically configured for the UE. The UE may transmit a first PUSCH transmission of the M-PUSCH transmissions according to a first precoder indication corresponding to the first PUSCH transmission. The M-PUSCH transmissions includes a second PUSCH transmission to be transmitted at least one slot later than the first PUSCH transmission. The UE may receive a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) before transmitting the second PUSCH. The UE may transmit, after receiving the CSI-RS, the second PUSCH according to a second precoder indication, where the second precoder indication is determined based at least on the CSI-RS.
