Abstract: The present disclosure provides an enriched artificial cerebrospinal fluid (EA-CSF) composition comprising: an electrolyte containing solution comprising at least one electrolyte selected from the group consisting of sodium ion, potassium ion, calcium ion, magnesium ion, phosphor ion, chloride ion and carbonate ion; and at least one neuroprotective factor. Also provided by the present disclosure are methods for producing the EA-CSF as well as methods of using the same for treating diseases, specifically, neurological diseases.
