Abstract: Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (100) zur spektralen Verbreiterung eines Laserimpulses. Die Vorrichtung (100) weist eine Multipass- Anordnung (120) mit einem konvexen Spiegel (122) und einem konkaven Spiegel (121) auf, wobei der konvexe Spiegel (122) und der konkave Spiegel (121) derart zueinander angeordnet sind, dass ein in die Multipass-Anordnung (120) eingekoppelter Laserimpuls zumindest einmal von dem konkaven Spiegel (121) zu dem konvexen Spiegel (122) und zumindest einmal von dem konvexen Spiegel (122) zu dem konkaven Spiegel (121) reflektiert wird. Außerdem weist die Vorrichtung 100 ein nichtlineares optisches Medium (130) auf, welches zumindest teilweise innerhalb der Multipass-Anordnung (120) derart angeordnet ist, dass das nichtlineare optische Medium (130) von dem in die Multipass-Anordnung (120) eingekoppelten Laserimpuls mehrmals durchlaufen wird. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Lasersystem (200), welches eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zur spektralen Verbreiterung eines Laserimpulses aufweist.

Abstract: Provided is a multipass arrangement (14) having a first mirror (16a) and a second mirror (16b) arranged on a central axis (1000) of the multipass arrangement (14), wherein the multipass arrangement (14) is adapted such that a laser radiation (12) coupled into the multipass arrangement (14) carries out multiple roundtrips between the first mirror (16a) and the second mirror (16b), characterized in that the first mirror (16a) and the second mirror (16b) are concave mirrors and that a distance (1002) of the first mirror (16a) from the second mirror (16b) along the central axis (1000) of the multipass arrangement (14) is 300 mm or less.

Abstract: An embodiment relates to a device (100) for a nonlinear optical frequencyconversion of laser radiation (102). The device comprises a multipass arrangement (110) being arranged such that a laser radiation (102) coupled into the multipass arrangement (110) carries out multiple roundtrips in the multipass arrangement (110). The device further comprises a nonlinear optical medium (118) arranged at least partly within the multipass arrangement (110) such that at least in several of the roundtrips the laser radiation (102) coupled into the multipass arrangement (110) passes through the nonlinear optical medium (118) to carry out a nonlinear optical conversion of a part of the laser radiation (102) propagating through the nonlinear optical medium (118) into frequency-converted components (104) based on a second order susceptibility X(2) of the nonlinear optical medium (118). The device (100) is configured such that the laser radiation (102) and the frequency-converted components (104) propagate in the multipass arrangement (110) along a common beam path including at least five passes through the nonlinear optical medium (118). Other embodiments relate to a method for a frequency conversion of laser radiation (102), a laser system (200) and a use of a multipass arrangement (110).
