    Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems for switching between power class combinations. An indication of a plurality of aggregated power class (PC) configurations is transmitted. Each of the plurality of aggregated PC configurations indicates respective maximum power and duty cycle information. A request is transmitted responsive to a triggering event. The request indicates a first aggregated PC configuration of the plurality of aggregated PC configurations. An indication of a second aggregated PC configuration is received in response to the request. A transmission is transmitted with a transmit power or power headroom that is based on the second aggregated PC configuration.

Channel estimation enhancements may be performed by transmitting DMRS symbols in an extended slot, for example, to avoid data degradation (e.g., which may result from replacing data transmission symbols with DMRS symbols). An extended slot may be a slot that includes symbols spanning across multiple slots (e.g., two slots, consecutive slots), for example, such as a slot n and a slot n+1.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for panel selection for uplink (UL) transmission in a multi-transmission-reception point (TRP) system. A method performed by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may include receiving, for each of a plurality of transmit/receive points (TRPs), information for measuring a first set of reference signals and spatial relation information, the spatial relation information associating each of one or more transmit beams with one or more of a second set of reference signals and with physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources. The method may include, for each of the plurality of TRPs, measuring a pathloss of each common reference signal among the first and second set of reference signals. The method may include selecting a transmit beam and a TRP and sending a transmission to the selected TRP. The transmit beam may be associated with an antenna panel of the WTRU.

    Abstract: The disclosed method and an apparatus are directed to determine an uplink transmission power in in New Radio (NR) systems by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for transmitting at least one physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), using multiple beams toward multiple Tx/Rx points (TRPs). The method includes determining common parameters that are common to the multiple beams. The method also includes determining beam-specific parameters like a configurable fractional power compensation factor for each beam, and a configurable maximum transmit power level for each beam, which are determined dynamically or semi-statically based on deployment, WTRU mobility, or interference level. The method further includes transmitting at least one codeword using at least one of the multiple beams, each of the multiple beams having a transmission power calculated based on the common parameters and the beam-specific parameters.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive indication information indicating an uplink (UL) configuration and one or more triggering conditions for transmission of UL signals. Based on reception of a deactivation command or fulfillment of a condition for WTRU-triggered deactivation of a secondary cell group (SCG), the WTRU may deactivate the SCG. Based on the UL configuration and the fulfillment of the one or more triggering conditions, the WTRU may transmit the UL signals via the SCG. The WTRU may receive, via a master cell group (MCG), an in-synch or out-of-synch indication for the SCG. Based on the reception of the out-of-synch indication including a timing advance (TA) delta value, the WTRU may update a UL TA towards the SCG based on the TA delta value. Using the updated UL TA towards the SCG, the WTRU may transmit one or more subsequent UL signals via the SCG.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for beam failure recovery (BFR) in wireless communications are provided. In an example, a method includes receiving configuration information of a set of reference signals (RSs) for monitoring and a set of candidate RSs for new beam selection, determining whether a number of the set of RSs is larger than a threshold, determining whether at least a subset of RSs of the set of RSs is failed, selecting at least a first RS and a second RS from the set of candidate RSs, based on the number of the set of RSs being larger than the threshold and at least the subset of RSs of the set of RSs being failed, transmitting a first uplink signal using a first uplink resource associated with the selected first RS, and/or transmitting a second uplink signal using a second uplink resource associated with the selected second RS.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, etc. directed to beam management for, and/or for use in connection with, multiple cells and/or multiple transmission/reception points are provided. Among the methods is a method that may include any of determining first and second reference signals sets (RS sets) associated with first and second sets of beams; receiving information for first and second beam failure recovery (BFR) sets corresponding to the first and second RS sets, wherein the information indicates an RS set associated with candidate beams (CB-RS set) and an uplink resource set for each of the first and second BFR sets; determining beam failures based on the first and second RS sets; selecting the CB-RS set and UL resource set from the first or second BFR set; determining an RS of the selected CB-RS set; and transmitting information indicating the beam failures using uplink resources of the selected uplink resource set.
