Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) receiving control messages that schedule a first and second set of repetitions of an uplink transmission to respective transmission/reception points (TRPs). The one or more control messages may be indicative of a first redundancy version (RV) sequence that is to be applied to the first set of repetitions and a second RV sequence that is to be applied to the second set of repetitions. The control messages may also indicate a first set of power control parameters and a second set of power control parameters. The UE may map the first and second set of power control parameters to the first and second set of repetitions according to a rule. The UE may transmit the first and second sets of repetitions according to the respective RV sequences and power control parameters.

Abstract: A configuration to allow for scheduling communication with a UE having associated characteristics based on a timing indication. The apparatus receives, from a UE, a timing indication associated with a bandwidth, a subcarrier spacing, or a waveform. The timing indication identifying a delay duration based on a processing timeline for the UE. The apparatus receives from the UE, or transmits to the UE, a first data channel having the bandwidth, the subcarrier spacing, or the waveform scheduled based on the timing indication. The first data channel is transmitted or received at a first time based on the timing indication.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). A method performed by a terminal in a communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a base station, configuration information on a configured grant for uplink transmission, the configured grant being configured with an autonomous transmission; in case that a previous configured grant for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process was not prioritized, a transmission of a first medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) obtained for the HARQ process has not been performed, and a size of the first MAC PDU matches a size of a configured grant, identifying that the first MAC PDU has been obtained for the configured grant; and in case that the configured grant is a prioritized uplink grant, delivering the obtained first MAC PDU.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for enabling L1 (physical layer) and L2 (medium access control (MAC) layer) inter-cell mobility. More specifically, rules and operations performed during L1/L2 based cell handover operations. In certain aspects, a user equipment (UE) is configured to receive, from a network entity of a source cell via at least one of L1 or L2 signaling, a handover command for the UE to handover from the source cell to a target cell. The UE may determine at least one transient period during which the UE is served by both the source cell and the target cell, and perform the handover while communicating with the source cell and target cell during the transient period.

In some aspects, a transmitter device may transmit a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) communication using a first code block order for code blocks of the HARQ communication; detect a trigger to retransmit the HARQ communication based at least in part on transmitting the HARQ communication; reorder the code blocks of the HARQ communication based at least in part on detecting the trigger to retransmit the HARQ communication; and retransmit the HARQ communication using a second code block order based at least in part on reordering the code blocks of the HARQ communication. Abstract: Some aspects provide an apparatus for wireless communication, in accordance with some aspects of the present disclosure. The processor-readable code, when executed by the at least one processor, may be configured to transmit a packet including at least one medium access control-control element (MAC-CE), receive hybrid automatic request (HARQ) signaling indicating whether the packet was decoded successfully, determine, in response to the HARQ signaling, whether to retransmit the at least one MAC-CE or transmit at least one other MAC-CE based on whether the packet comprises data, and transmit another packet having the at least one MAC-CE or the at least one other MAC-CE based on the determination.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for triggering generation and transmission of a channel state information (CSI) report by the user equipment (UE) in response to issuance of at least one downlink grant by the base station. Additionally, in order to address unique challenges that may arise with respect to traffic collisions and desynchronizations based on downlink grant CSI report triggering (e.g., missing downlink control information (DCI)), aspects of the present disclosure may further implement restrictions for transmission of aperiodic CSI (A-CSI) by the UE on physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) triggered by downlink grant. Additionally, aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for utilizing a duplicate CSI trigger indication (e.g., indicator in downlink DCI) between multiple messages in order to signal to the UE that the transmission of A-CSI may be multiplexed or merged with another uplink message (e.g., acknowledgement).

Abstract: Wireless communication systems and methods related to utilizing two-stage grants for uplink communications with discontinuous reception (DRX) operations are provided. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) receive, from a base station (BS), a first downlink control information (DCI) message scheduling an uplink (UL) data transmission, the first DCI message indicating a first value for an UL schedule timing indicator. The UE activates a timer based at least in part on the first value of the UL schedule timing indicator. The UE monitors a downlink control channel based at least in part on the timer. The UE receives, from the BS, a second DCI message indicating UL schedule timing for the UL data transmission based at least in part on the monitoring.
