Abstract: A method for changing the pre-stretch level of a stretch-film wrapping machine, in which method the pre-stretch level is changed by changing the transmission ratio of a power transmission gears (3, 4; 13, 14) coupling a first pre-stretching roller and a second pre-stretching roller of a pre-stretching device, wherein the pre-stretch level in changed by replacing the power transmission gears (3, 4; 13, 14) coupling the first and second pre-stretch roller located on a surface of the pre-stretching device. The invention relates also to a pre-stretching device, a stretch-film wrapping apparatus and a detachable gearbox (12).
