Abstract:
The application relates according to one embodiment to an air filter (104) for grease filtering. The filter comprises a filter mounting element (112) for installing the filter in connection with an intake opening (102) of an air ventilation duct (101), at least one mechanical separation element (120) for separating solid impurities from flowing air (103), and a UV source mounting element (132) capable of being fitted with a UV source (130) for generating UV light. The UV light and a catalyst coating present inside the filter are adapted to transform the physical state of grease flowing into the ventilation duct along with the airflow.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an air filter which is intended for an air conditioning system. The air filter (1 ) comprises a disc type filter element (2) and a power unit (3), preferably an electric motor, which is connected to the filter element for rotating the same. The filter element (2) is arranged in connection with a ventilation duct (4), such that it is placed outside an aperture (4a) of the ventilation duct (4) at a first distance (s) therefrom, and such that it is concentric with the ventilation duct. The ventilation duct is supplied by way of the aperture with air (A) cleaned by the air filter. According to the invention, the air filter further comprises a ring type collar (5), which is arranged outside the aperture (4a) of the ventilation duct at a second distance (k) therefrom concentrically with the ventilation duct (4). The collar (5) is adapted to widen towards the aperture (4a). The collar (5) is most preferably in the shape of a truncated cone.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for providing an incoming air stream to an air-conditioned space and a corresponding inlet air device (1). The incoming air stream is brought into the air distribution chamber (2) of the inlet air device and is distributed through an air distribution surface (3) to the air-conditioned space (4). According to the invention, the incoming air stream is brought as at least one, essentially narrow and essentially uniform air jet through the aperture zone (6, 6a, 6b, 6c) of the inlet surface (5) to the air distribution chamber (2). The air jet is allowed to collied, on a desired spot, to an outlet surface, i.e. an air distribution surface (3) projected from the plane of the inlet surface (5) and being partly permeable to air. As a consequence of the collision, the inlet air stream entering the room space (4) through the outlet surface (3) is discharged into the room space essentially following a predetermined air distribution pattern (aa, bb, cc).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an attenuating section for a sound attenuator (2) in an air conditioning duct which attenuating section (3) is implemented of elastic and sound-attenuating material. According to the invention, the attenuating section (3; 3 1 ) comprises at least one attenuation element (31; 31a) which is provided with a permanent magnet arrangement (4; 41 ) by means of which the attenuating section is to be detachably fastened to a housing section (10, 30) of the sound attenuator. The invention also relates to a sound attenuator for an air conditioning duct the attenuating section (3; 3 1 , 3 2 ) of which is implemented in the above way.
Abstract:
Filtering unit designed for use in air exhaust systems to remove impurities from the air to be exhausted, said unit comprising at least one cylindrical and essentially vertical separating chamber (1) provided with inflow (2) and outflow openings (3). The inflow opening consists of a longitudinal aperture in the cylindrical wall (4) of the separating chamber (1), said aperture opening essentially tangentially into the chamber and increasing in width in the downward direction.
