A rigid, channel-framed, non-compressible, non-nestable, pleated air filter, comprising: a tightly-pleated air filter media comprised of a nonwoven fibrous web and with an upstream face and a downstream face, wherein the tightly-pleated air filter media comprises a plurality of upstream (and downstream) pleat tips and upstream (and downstream) pleat valleys, the tightly-pleated air filter media comprising a plurality of upstream (and downstream) linear bridging filaments that are at least substantially parallel to each other and are oriented at least substantially orthogonal to the pleat direction and are extrusion-bonded to at least some of the upstream (and downstream) pleat tips, and, a channel frame comprising four major frame portions, with each major frame portion being mounted on one of the four major edges of the pleated air filter media.

본 발명에 따른 가습청정장치는 로어바디 및 상기 로어바디 상부에 결합된 어퍼바디를 포함하는 베이스바디; 상기 로어바디에 설치된 송풍모터; 상기 어퍼바디에 설치되는 워터링모터;를 포함하고, 상기 송풍모터 및 워터링모터는 상하 방향으로 배치되고, 상기 송풍모터 및 워티링모터는 소정간격 이격되어 모터이격거리(MD)를 형성하고, 어느 하나에서 발생된 진동이 다른 하나로 직접 전달되는 것을 차단한다. 본 발명은 2개의 모터가 모터이격간격을 형성하기 때문에, 어느 하나에서 생성된 진동이 다른 하나로 직접 전달되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

The present invention refers to an arrangement for cleaning of an intake air filter (1) in a ventilation unit (2) comprising e.g. a heat exchanger, which ventilates a space (3) with indoor air, e.g. a hotel room, said air is sucked in through said intake air filter (1), on which dust/particles (4) from said space (3) after a period of time are gathered on an intake side (5) of the intake air filter (1), said intake side (5) is turned directly towards the space (3) and sometimes indirectly towards a screen (6), provided in connection to said intake air filter (1) in a predetermined distance (7) from the intake side (5). Within said distance (7) at least one blow-off nozzle (8) is provided, which is connected to a separate intake air fan (15), which sucks in air (9) being outside said space (3) and outside the ventilation unit (2) through a hose or tube (16) for blowing the sucked- in air (9) through the blow-off nozzle (8) out over the intake side (5) of the intake air filter (1) in order to remove the dust /particles (4) from the intake side (5) and/or the screen (6) and allowing said dust/particles (4) to fall out from the ventilation unit (2) and into said space (3).

A water separator reduces a water content of an air stream, which is used in an HVAC unit for a vehicle. The water separator includes a diverter wall and an adjacent wall spaced from the diverter wall to define an air passage. The diverter wall has a terminal end extending into the air passage for changing a direction of the air stream, to reduce the water content of the air stream. A filter assembly is disposed through a receiving slot in the diverter wall and is within, the air passage downstream of the terminal end.

A method and apparatus are provided for detecting a temperature of a cabin within an airplane. The method includes the steps of providing a temperature sensor, enclosing the temperature sensor within an enclosure, coupling an inlet of the enclosure to the cabin of the airplane and an outlet to an air conditioning air return of the airplane and disposing a filter over the inlet. In another aspect, the apparatus includes a mounting plate having a center aperture, a curved profile in a first direction to conform to a vertical curve on a spacer between adjacent overhead luggage bins of an aircraft and a width in a second direction that fits between doors of the overhead luggage bins, a U-shaped bezel that engages the mounting plate, the bezel defining a pair of notches between the bezel and mounting plate along opposing inside edges of a pair of upright arms of the U-shaped bezel and a filter cartridge with a pair of opposing flanges that engages the notches and a filter media over a central portion that covers the aperture in the mounting plate.
